Intelligent System's new DSiWare game will be blasting off shortly in Japan.
Recently Nintendo has launched an official website for their latest puzzle game, Panel Connection: 3 Minute Rocket. This new title is being developed by Intelligent Systems.
In the game, players move panels around in order to complete a fuel supply line from the launch pad to beneath the rocket. Once the supply line is properly completed, the rocket will fly to the next area.
There are two modes in the game: Mission mode and Puzzle mode. In Mission mode players are tasked with launching the rocket between predetermined launch points, in order to reach to the target planet within three minutes. In Puzzle mode players have to move all available panels in the correct order before the rocket launches. This mode offers 100 different stages.
Panel Connection: 3 Minute Rocket will launch for the Japanese DSiWare service on November 11 for 500 DSiPoints.
It’s been a long time since we’ve seen an entry in the Metroid Prime series - 18 years, in fact. It was 8 years ago that Metroid Prime 4 was originally announced and its development was more than a little turbulent. Initially developed by Bandai Namco, it was later scrapped completely and development was shifted back to Retro Studios to start the project over. In the end, Retro has delivered a solid new entry in the series, but one that doesn’t totally capture what originally made the series so compelling.
