In case this went over your head for whatever reason, X and X-2 are going to be bundled on one disc for the Playstation 3, and sold as two seperate games for the Vita. Which just raises all sorts of possible cross buy questions. And apparently they're both going to be the international versions of their respective games, which most people in the west never got. Nice.

I thought that too. X-2s pretty much an afterthought altogether when you think about it. As much as I hate it. I know I'm gonna end up replaying the whole thing ugh

I own both. Couldn't stand X-2 at first but it kinda grew on me after awhile! By contrast, I had very few problems with FF X! I admit, the HD revamp makes Tidus and co.'s adventure look much sharper but they're great games even without the visual tweak. (Though the awkward "laughing scene" still makes me come close to vomiting on occasion!)
I remember those jagged edges oh so fondly. And honestly, if they just ported it to the PS3 and Vita without the graphical upgrade, I'd still be happy. I love it that much. Somehow it's graphical flaws and inconsistencies (and boy was it inconsistent) just made it that much more endearing to me for some reason.
Pretending huge graphical inconsistencies don't exist....good times man. Good times.
Loved X on PS2. Can't wait for this one!!. Thanks for the HD comparison....huge difference. It is going to be BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks for posting the pics, I never really think of the visuals of a HD remake. I normally just think of the idea of being able to play that particular game again but the comparsions screenshots really show a big difference. FF10 Im def excited to go through. I beat it when I had a ps2 and loved it. I however wasnt much of a fan for its sequel. Ill prolly do what you do though, play through both even though FF10-2 might just make me want pull my hair out.
As much as it's going to kill me to play through X-2 again, gotta get the whole experience at least. And I guess it'll be worth it to relive the memories....oh, such shitty memories
