This is one of the big ones for me. When I first saw footage of it I was not too impressed. It seemed like another generic futuristic shooter. But the more I read about it[and saw video]the more I realized this could be something special. The fact that you can manipulate so many electronic devices in real time as you fight seems inspired. It is a vision of a not-so-far-off future that becomes a reality with each passing year. Technology advances in leaps and bounds. Look at what's happening right now with revelations about NSA's abilities to monitor us. So the subject matter of Watch Dogs is rather topical. The execution of the gameplay that was displayed recently was incredible. It allows players to solve problems in multiple ways and forces you to be creative. Looking forward to it a lot,so I think a pre-order is in my future. Oh,and I saw something incredibly cool at Vintage Stock yesterday. The soundtrack to Drive on vinyl! This is the cover artwork for it.
What I'm listening to today.........
That is awesome artwork. I will have to wait and see on watch dogs. If it is a launch title, I may find myself picking it up right away for the ps4.
yeah I'm hyped for Watch Dogs too. It seems really immersive.
The Winery Dogs sound good, a bit like STP, hadn't heard of them before, and that Drive artwork looks amazing.
Watch Dogs is a cool concept for sure, and I was just thinking of how much eerily more topical it's become as of late.
I love cyberpunk stuff so I'm keeping an eye on Watch Dogs.
When I saw footage for Watchdogs I immediately thought about PRISM, those new drone protypes, and the NSA. Wonder if "Big Government" will try pulling this from the shelves, heh.
My brother actually joked about this in saying that the NSA was bulding their own gaming console called the "Watch Dog"
when I told him they were actually making a game with the title "Watch Dogs" he just bust out laughing, thinking he was being funny with this NSA joke. Not sure if he'll be playing this game though.
