Well the tlitle says it all and thats about it. Despite all the complications the game is still in development but is not being treated as a priority amoung a couple of other games in production by Sony's Japan Studios. Its going to be a PS4 title but it sounds like it is going to be a download only as part of PSN . And there is not even a hint as to when it will possibly be released.
maybe it would be best as an "indie" style downloadable title, so there's less cost and more freedom for it. I dunno.
The more freedom part sounds nice, but to be honest, I was pretty drawn to its graphics, so less money doesn't sound as great to me.
And no release date and the apparent taking a backseat to other titles sounds worse.
yeah, that's true. maybe it will work out in the long run though, somehow.

have there not been quite a few games whose development stretched on and on only to be a disappointing product? Duke Nukem Forever and Too Human and Prey come to mind.

Was there a news story that confirmed it for PS4? I have only seen that it was rumored by a former employee (though to be honest it seems quite likely at this point).
The few details I got on this were on Kotaku.
"download only" I don't like the sound of that. That sucks.
It all sounded a bit wishy washy so I doubt anything is set in stone.
I got this off of Kotaku and from what I saw this was info presented at the press conference thing Sony did the other day.
