I know I haven't been around for a while...but desperately wanting to share this brought me back for a sec.
This might bring back some memories for some of you ;)
Hey Squall, did you hear? Your game's on Steam now.
It's kind of a big deal, dude.
Because now tons of people can buy and play Final Fantasy VIII on their PCs? I mean, you must know what Steam is.
Okay, sorry! I shouldn't have assumed.
Steam is this big network that lets people buy computer games, earn achievements, share games with their friends. It's run by Valve, the company started by Gabe Newell—
You really don't know who Gabe Newell is?
I mean, I don't really care, I'm just—
Okay, okay. Let's call timeout here. Can you take a step back and admit that you were being a bit of an asshole just then?
What? Man, I'm just trying to let you know that your game is on Steam. What's with you?
Well, I'm sorry to hear that. If it helps, Final Fantasy VIII is pretty good.
Critics! And fans! I mean, aren't you excited about all the new people who will get to experience your game?
Why?
Very funny. I thought you might be psyched about your audience expanding, that's all.
What, you mean Square Enix? I mean, I know they've got some awful business practices, but I don't think they're that bad...
:(
Oh the memories. And no, I'm not getting it on Steam.
That was extremely entertaining. Thanks for this, I laughed and was informed. Now, I'm off to buy this game!
Don't ever talk to Squall. I prefer talking to Terra instead.
"Empire? Magitek Armor...?"
Hmmm...well, maybe not.
Allright!!! Does this mean you are going to finish the FFXIII playthrough? I know, you don't want to pay the SE tax. $12 >. <
Hey Britt. Nice to see you around these parts again.
That was really funny lol! It's nice to see you back! Hopefully you'll stick around.
Well now there is a short window to replay VIII before Lightning Returns and FF X & X-2 come out in Feb and Mar. So Jan.
I really didn't like FFVIII. I put hours into that game and was bored to death.
wondering where u went off to. Hope all is well!
Ha, got the right giggle out of me, thanks
Man, I soo don't like this game.
Squall is the most upbeat guy EVER!
This is hilarious! Well done. On a side note, I really like FFVIII but can't see myself buying it on Steam. I still have my original PSOne discs so maybe i'll replay someday....
I could never finish FFVIII, fun game though.
