Video games are terrific. They provide a release from the harsh reality that is life. But don't you wish you could do something from a video game? Or how about things you shouldn't? We all know that video games are fantasy so take this as a wish list if you will. Now a reminder your top five may be different than mine.

Honorable mention- Deep pockets- I don't know about you but I wish I could lug around 99 swords on my person. All the crap that you pick up, all the items you require....it seems you have an unlimited capacity to just carry crap with you. Oh you think you can escape? Well it's a good thing I have unlimited heat seeking rocket ammo for my missle launcher!

5. Be the  Hero Who Saves The World- We all have that aspiration to be the hero who saves the world. Going on an epic adventure with friends and flying around exploring a vast world fighting monsters and various villains. Of course this usually comes with an added side effect. The world will be destroyed if you should fail, people who you are close to will probably die tragic deaths, and despite saving the world...people still won't know who you are. And then there is the flip side of wanting to be the bad guy. But let's just leave this nice and fuzzy. I mean not everybody wants to rule the world right? I'm sure there are no secret, hidden, evil ambitions right?! RIGHT!?

4. Real World Professions- In video games I can be anything I want. If I want to be a farmer then boom I'm a farmer. Top chef? You betcha! World's best surgeon? You better believe it! But if I tried these in real life...I would cause a lot of problems. Especially high paying professions. I mean there are times I willingly let a patient die out of frustration in Trauma Center. I've let criminals off the hook in Ace Attorney, and in real life...if it's not microwaveable...then it's getting burnt or badly cooked.

3. Superpowers- These can be anything. Even if we go by loose definitions of a super powerr in Mario's case I would love to put on a suit that let's me turn into one of many transformations. Oh that flower lets me throw fireballs! That let's me turn into a statue! This allows me to be invincible for a short period of time! But maybe that power would go to my head. I don't know.

2. Invincibility/Multiple Lives/Regeneration- Speaking of Invincibility....don't you wish you could take a sword to stomach and be mildly unphased? Or how about an arrow to the knee? Have you been shot a lot? Why just cover behind a wall and regenerate your health. Video games have this benefit. If I fell down a bottomless shaft or fell into a pit of spikes I'd be dead...no start overs...but with an extra life or the power of invincibilty...I don't have to worry about it!

1. All that money!!!- everything and anything requires gold, money, munny, gald, zenny, cash, etc. These forms of currency can get you anything. Need to cure poison?...buy a antidote and healed. Is your latest weapon not good enough? The next town has a better and stronger one! And not to mention with all that money you have you could afford anything you want. Live a life of luxury being the strongest and richest person ever! Who can stop you!? You have the best!

Anyways that's just a humorous list. What would you like to be able to do from video games? Comments and feedback are always appreciated!

I would like to be able to sleep like RPG characters do.  They hop in bed, go to sleep instantly, and a few seconds later, they're awake and fully refreshed!

Oh that would be lovely...Sleep for 5 seconds and be refreshed and cured of any ailments! If only!

I myself would like to get the agility of plataforming characters, like double jumping, wall bounce and such.

Yeah I could imagine jumping around. That would be pretty fun.

I'd like the ability to do any failed task over again as many times as I want.
