Bored on a Friday night, so I figured that while my son monopolizes the living room telly with his addiction to the Wild Kratts cartoon, I'd catalogue my exploits thus far in the year. Submitted for your approval, PixlBitches. Bigups to Snee; he taught me that the term PixlBitches is indeed, viable.
These are listed in the order I played and beat them, as well. If the game is released in installments you'll be able to tell, as I'll list it how many I completed versus how many exist in the series.
If I beat a game more than once, you'll see 2x, 3x, et cetera followng it.
BY THE WAY....I'd love to see other people do a Game Log blog like this....I enjoy reading about what you guys are playing.

and those fall "new game" releases havent arrived yet...
Brother, my backlog is RIDICULOUS. I have so many unplayed games, I really have no business even thinking about buying a new-gen system.
Still though, I have my eyes on a WiiU....for the boyo...he loves Mario games.
My backlog is also pretty ridiculous, take a look: http://www.backloggery.com/f1r3inth3h0l3
I did buy a new console though, two actually, lol (PS4 and Wii U). I like keeping up with current games. I try to balance chipping away at the backlog and playing new games. Finally playing XCOM: Enemy Unknown right now. My Steam libraby is practicially untouched...
I might throw up a similar blog, I also like to see what people are playing and also their opinions of the games they're playing.
I'm hoping to finally get to XCOM because I'm going to try and stop buying games so I can save up for a PS4 and Xbox One next year. Don't know how I'm going to fit in a Wii-U, but I want that too. . . and tablet. . . and an upgrade of my iPod Touch. Phew, that's like $1700 right there.
Wow, a PS4, Xbox One and a Wii U, all consoles?? That is cool. I probably will not get an Xbox One, but the Wii U seems like a good buy now. Especially after E3.
What tablet you getting?
I may get a Wii-U soon. I want to play Tropical Freeze. I really like the consoles, not so much PC and phones/tablets, but there are games I want to play there. I'm really tempted to upgrade my iPod Touch. I probably wont get a tablet, even though I want one. It's still to much of an expense to justify it for the handful of games I want to play there, but at some point my laptop will stop working and I think I'll replace it with a tablet like the Surface Pro 3, as long as it can play the games I want to play as well as do my writing here at Pixlbit.
I used to hate tablet/phone gaming until I got into emulators. I dont use emulation that much but its enabled me to enjoy the classics I missed in my childhood
I am enjoying XCOM. I haven't played a tactical game in a while. Recommend.
damn that's a lot more than I beat! how was SOuth PArk?
it was pretty good. Probably the best turn-based RPG I've played in a long time...though FF V is giving it a run for its money. I liked how many different outfits you could pick out and use. When you get a chance to play it, pick the Jew class.
Utterly Epic.
Stick of Truth was on sale today on Xbox Live, but I guess it was a full priced game because 20% off was still $44. That's too much for me to impulse buy it, but I'll play it sometime.
Yeah 44 bucks is too much, consideri g theres not a lot of replay value there.
I keep forgetting it was released as a full game. I kept thinking it was a downloadable one and much smaller like a XBLA game.
I keep beating the same old games over & over. I need to make myself play some new ones.
Your kid likes Wild Kratts too, huh. I don't even pay attention to the show and I'm usually in the room while my kids watch it.
my boy likes to keep me informed of what is going on in every episode. Naturally I have to listen =)
I have 5 kids and they all want to share with me the events of their day. The 2 youngest, I can barely understand. Sadly, I just nod my head and say, "Interesting. That's good. That's something".
Yet another thing we share in common. When my boy is telling me about the cartoon plots he so adores, I typically listen and ask an arbitrary question. When it's more relatable material (He-Man, Marvel, DC) then I'm able to get into more of a dialogue with him.
Gotta show the interest.
Yeah, as they get older, it's harder to fake it.
My oldest (10) likes Transformers. I use to go on about the newer cartoons. I have no interest them. Of late, he's been getting into the Transformers cartoons from the 80s. He enjoys them more. Thank goodness. I can talk about them. My 2nd oldest (7.5), daughter, likes almost anything from the 80s and 90s. Sadly, she can drag on about Minecraft.
lol....I bet those minecraft discussions are the best
My nephew could talk forever about Minecraft. I'm fine with it though. I could listen all day. Minecraft is cool.
It wouldn't be so bad, but I have absolutely no interest in Minecraft.
Here here...no interest at all in minecraft. My LEGO obsessed son would be into it though.
You got me beat. I've only finsihed Arkham City and Tomb Raider recently.
Ive had a lot of spare time
I'll do a Game Log sometime soon. I love doing that kind of thing, but I worry no one will be too interested. I guess I'm wrong about that. Here's a little taste: I'm on my 42nd game of the year, and I've completed 7 of them. 11 were collections that I went through that I guess I consider completed even though many individual games I didn't actually beat. That would make 18 finished games. I like keeping track of stuff like this and how long I've played everything too. Since the beginning of the year, I've been motivated to play less games and complete the ones I start, unless they aren't fun for me. Like I completed four games very thoroughly just in the last month or so.
I wanna see that LIST, bro.
To date I'm right now at...
*does calculations*
...
Castle Crashers. But I still have much replay to do in order to unlock everything. I don't think I can count Sonic Wings special since I needed help and there are multiple storylines.
Just finished up Arkham City. Talia Al Ghul is fine as fuck in the game <3
I like this idea. I thought I beat maybe 5-6 but my Backloggery page said I played through a lot more.
I need to take down one of those Batman games. I should jump back into the Vita game.
Whats your backloggery name? Ill add you. And hell yes you should finish up that Batman game!!
I'm GoAztecs on there.
I think once I figure out where I am in the game (I got lost which is the reason why I stopped), I'll finish the game.
Just finished Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon
Just finished Arkham Asylum
