For those that are like me and still need to buy the game, Amazon has it in download form for 10.99 if you need to go on the cheap side for it.

Thanks! I updated with purchase link. Actually, it would be nice to have the digital copy always on my PS3. Hmm...

FUCK YES.

It'll be nice to have heads to co-op with.

add me, my psn handle is in my profile.

I think that was a PS+ freebie. If it was I'll go redownload it and give it a go

I'm sitting this one out. Love Dark Souls, but can't stand this game.

Well, it is a controversial game. Would love to see comments from you about why you hate it. Hope to see you in discussion.

Okay... so how does this actually work?

Also, Death Trap? If you finished Dark Souls, you'll find this game quite easy. Apart from The Valley of Defilement. If you thought Blitghttown was evil, you aint seen nothing! And the trip to the last boss... fuck that shit. IF you don't take the time to cheaply kill a certain enemy before you make it to the boss fight, getting back there will be a real pain in the ass.

I'm finding Demon's Souls a bit harder than Dark Souls.

Maybe I'm 'tarded.

If you play as a magic caster, you straight up win the game from the get go. It's seriously powererful.

I have it on Xbox 360, but I could pick up a PS3 copy. Yea, I guess I'll do that since there's ways to link up with y'all on PS3. See ya Monday! (lucky I'm off work on Mondays).

Demon's Souls, Knight...not Dark Souls....at least...not this time =)

Yea, what was I thinking. It's seeing those Dark Souls forum posts all the time that got me stuck on that. I have Demon's Souls so no worries.

I'd join but I'm too tight on money to get it. I'll join when you guys put together a Mario Kart 8 one.

Sure thing. I want to eventually focus on games we might all have. This one comes up a lot.

ah, I can't play this one again.  But have fun, guys and girls!

If you've played it before, you can still jump in and comment and discuss. Hope to see you around!

Hey sharky.....are you thinking perhaps having those who participate write up short, maybe 1-paragraph-long blurbs about the experience they're having thus far?  It can all be compiled into a weekly blog...it'll help us all keep each other accountable and invested further in the game

I'm not sure yet. I got the idea from Usgamer.net. They are doing a monthly game, with weekly blogs made of blurbs from all the staff, but there isn't much of a 'discussion' going on with the community. I think we can do better. I'm more interested in seeing reaction from new and veteran players about specific events. I thought Demon's Souls had a lot of interesting things to blog about. Plus, you can play as little or as much as you want. You don't need to follow our guideline, but is recommended for 'discussion', like a book club. We'll see how it goes.

Darn. I'm stupid. I got Dark Souls and really it's Demon's Souls. Well, I still have that game too. No prob. there.
