After a brief run of demoliton/construction, it's back to plumbing! (Then back to some more construction before the cold gets too much even for me.)

Before having to close up the hole we made on the roof, my brother took some pictures of the dumbwaiter-type thing I mentioned in the previous blog. At least that way, we'd have some proof of it's existence before it's covered up by the other work we've yet to do.

Then it was time to deal with the lingering plumbing problems left over from the last time we were mucking about. Things went about as well as they usually do at our less than speedy pace. Then for a bit of fun I tried my hand at some of the weightlifting equipment my father and older brother use. I was actually a fair bit stronger than I initally thought, especially after lifting what I originally thought was about 120 pounds was actually closer to about 150 on the bench press (though I couldn't actually bench the weight and relied on my father and little bro to help me put the bar back in place. At least it shows that my efforts in getting in shape aren't in vain).

As far as games go, still playing around in Smash Bros., after having to download the latest update I haven't noticed any specific changes, despite that being the supposed point of the update. Though that could be because I just haven't been paying close enough attention. I'm thinking about getting the Wii U version, even though I don't have a Wii U as of yet, mainly due to wanting to get the soundtrack that comes with registering both versions at Club Nintendo. However with the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire being out now as well, I'll probably put that plan on hold. Then there's Persona Q coming out a few days after that...

Man, my funds are going to be next to nothing by the end of the year, aren't they?

Happy plumbing! It would be cool to see that dumbwaiter thing, too.

I'll be sure to remember to put the pictures up when I find that camera again.

I should probably learn plumbing ... and car fixin' ... and roofing ... and anything else that costs a lot when you ask someone else to do it. It's great you're getting that experience and shows you have great work ethic.

Smash Bros. sounds like fun.

145 is pretty standard to have on a bench (bar is 45, a "plate" or 45 lbs added on either side) and if you're doing 150 that's pretty good, keep it up.

yeah a lot of good games out now.  I feel left out.  But I'm going to get DA soon, and maybe even Pokemon...  I've decided it's time i give that series a chance.

The Smash Bros soundtrack doesn't ship till march. I think the soundtrack offer will be around for a bit so you might can go awhile without purchasing if there is other things u want first. Now don't quote me on it but if they aren't shipping till March I'd figure the offer would exist till atleast Jan 2015. I picked up Alpha Sapphire and am enjoying it so far. I only got 1 game left for this year and that's Guilty Gear Xrd Sign.

I actually ended up picking up copies of Aqua Sapphire and Omega Ruby for myself and my brother, but thanks for the info.

I'll have to keep that dumbwaiter in mind in case I need to.....hide.....something....

My little one is already sinking her teeth into the pokemon remakes, i could hardly get a peep out of her as she played. She makes me so proud.

Man it would be cool to have that dumbwaiter running, but if you have to cover it up at least you have proof! I'm joining you in the empty wallet club. I do like this time of year, but it also sucks the money out of your pocket.
