My previous guest, Adam Howard, returns for this episode!
Note: my recording app (which is specifically for Skype calls) messed up and caused some lag somewhere in the last 20 minutes. It's not that bad and I think there's great material so I hope you don't mind.
We discuss: podcasts we listen to (and podcasting in general), non-spoiler discussions of Return To Me, Red Cliff, Kingsman: The Secret Service & Chappie, American Gladiators, Sailor Moon, Goldeneye (N64), the N64, Super Mario All-Stars, SNES, the Sonic the Hedgehog series, my umpteenth attempt to read Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy and other assorted junk.
I've also put a podcast widget in my profile if you want to hear the episode from there!
Have fun!
do you use any special equipment to record?
Not really. Just my laptop, a headset and a couple of apps (iFreecorder to record, Audacity to edit).
also, I've read Blood Meridian, and two other of mccarthy's books. they're tough but worth it.
I've read The Road, No Country For Old Men and All The Pretty Horses. All excellent and more accessible than Blood Meridian.
I liked All the Pretty Horses and it's sequel. I keep meaning to read the last book in that series.
