The Overwatch Beta is honestly the most fun I've been having in gaming this year. Now, take a second for that to sink in, because this is me and Dark Souls 3 and Ratchet and Clank came out last month. Yeah, it's that fucking good.
I usually don't get super into multiplayer games with the exception of some MMOs and Hearthstone, but I am super addicted to this. Basically, it's everything Team Fortress should be. It's both easy to read and accessible and insanely deep. The characters are all great, entertaining and engaging, and the game just works so well even if you're coming dead last.
But, these games are always better with friends who can communicate. So who's playing? I have this on both PC and PS4 (PC sometimes has troubles connecting for whatever reason) and there is two days left. When this is done, I will definitely buy it and keep playing.
Also, even the animated shorts are awesome. I mean look at this shit! It's beautiful:
That's some fucking pixar shit right there. Seriously, I love this game. So play it!
Is it on the Xbox one?
The game is coming to Xbox One so I'd assume the beta is there too.
I downloaded the beta on PC to give it a spin. I played a couple of games, liked it but its not a game I'll probably buy on release. Its fun but I know I won't play a ton of it.
I'm really curious about this game. I may try it.
i downloaded it, haven't played it yet. I would like to though. It looks cool.
I was totally aiming to play the beta but then wor fuced me over by having me work 6 days straight and I was too tired to play it. I plan on buying it in the future though.
I played a good amount and had fun! I can tell I'm terrible and I haven't worked my way to not-too-embarrasing FPS skills in a while... I am going to think about this one when it's on sale. Seems like it will be going strong for a while, though.
