This won't be a long post. Ever since last night not a lot has transpired. I made it through another Monday. Listened to new episodes of The Movie Crypt, The Morning Stream and the Kevin & Bean Show podcasts. Got some sleep.

The last home basketball game of the season will be conducted tonight. It's senior night to boot so I expect a lot more trash than usual. But, it will be the last b-ball game of any kind. Pee-Wee wrapped up last Saturday and 7th grade games a little earlier than that. Now all that's left for the rest of the year is soccer and softball. Lightweight affairs but they will need to be taken care of.

While I've been updating my iPods, I think I caught the last 30 minutes of The Dirty Dozen and Platoon is currently playing on one of the Cinemax channels. It's not exactly uplifting.

Yikes, I hope I have more to say tomorrow.

nah Platoon isn't exactly what you want to watch when you need  lift.  Good movie though.

If I remember right, the last 30 minutes of The Dirty Dozen was a giant bloody shootout. No wait. . . I'm thinking of The Wild Bunch. Nevermind.

Not just gunfights but a basement full of Nazis and Nazi supporters get burned and blown to bits.

I know I saw Dirty Dozen. I only vaguely remember the ending. I should see it again for the burnin' bits.

Well, you can always watch the second half of Full Metal Jacket if you need a pick-me-up.

FMJ at least has some humor ("You seen much combat?" "I've seen a little on tv!").

That's why I said the second half, after Private Pile ... well, y'know.

Playing catch-up here. Hope the gym and locker rooms weren't too trashed after the game and happy for you that basketball is over for another season.

The bleachers had their fair share of trash. Besides that, nothing for me to harp about.
