Ok, I've just snapped a few new pics of my physical PS4 collection. I've got 100s of digital games as well.

The game up top with no insert is F1 2015

I'll post some XBox One pictures after I take them.  I'm also happy to say I got my pre-order in for an XBox One X and couldn't be happier. I got a 4K TV last Jan so I'm really excited for this one.

hard to believe just a couple of years ago the PS4 came out and had no games!!!  Nice collection.

It was 4 years ago, which is almost an entire cycle for older consoles.

But yeah, I can't believe I was considering an Xbox One because I thought it had more exclusives that matched my taste at the time. Surprised

damn, four years ago?  Where does the damn time go?

Right? I was still in grad school when I bought a PS4, and Octodad was one of the kiosk demos. How times have changed.

It had games, just not much in the way of interesting exclusive. Still it picked up and had a better start then PS3.

I only have a handful of physical games for PS4, but 100s of digital titles, when Including free PS+ downloads.

That is most definitely a first for me, as I never owned ANYTHING digital on a console before now.

Its definitely nice to have it all there without disc swapping. Still in the end you're at their mercy. Sony in paticular is bad. If you get hacked and someone charges up a bunch of stuff on your account, you're stuck paying it. If you fight with with the credit card company, Sony bans you and you lose it all. I've read numerous cases they do it even when they acknowledge you were hacked and it wasn't your fault.

I had better go take my CC info off again then ...

I really enjoy my PS4.  In fact, right now I'm enjoying it more than the Switch.  That may change later on, but right now that's how it is.  I do enjoy my Switch, too, as I've been playing a lot of Splatoon 2 lately.  I don't have an Xbox One because there aren't enough games on it that interest me.  Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Xbox.  In fact, I loved the 360 and it was my favorite console of that generation.  I even liked it better than the Wii.

I still prefer my XBox, but yeah I know what you mean about exclusive stuff. There's not as much, but I really like what they do have.

I have almost no physical games for the current systems. I feel like its all gone digital and there's no need for physical copies. That being said, I desperately want to be able to buy a few right now. I so want to preorder Ni No Kuni 2, and I don't want a digital copy. I guess, I've just had to accept not having things right now. Physical copies get traded. My retro stuff, though, is luckily not worth much, so I keep it. I got a nice pile of that and that's not going anywhere. I'll probably start collecting current gen games when the next gen starts because they'll be cheap.

Nice collection though! Impressive, most impressive.

I haven't played the first Ni No Kuni, but I've heard a lot of people praise it. I'll grab it at some point. I have way too many RPGs to work on at the moment though.

I played about 20 hours of it. I liked it but the battle system annoyed me. I'd like to play it again though. Beautiful game.

I see you have a few VR games. How is PSVR?

By the way, we have roughly the same taste in games by the looks of it. I didn't know you already had lost legacy. I never had a 360/wii/ps3, so I still need to play the original trilogy ... After I beat Bioshock.

PSVR is good, but the tracking is terrible and the processor unit is junk. You constantly need to press and hold the options button to stop the tracking from drifting. It also has some issues with things jumping around. As for the processor, it has no HDR passthough and it has a issue with the screen going blank when hooked up to the PS4 Pro. Unfortunately Sony is pretty much ignoring the issues and since most mainstream gaming media is pretty much controlled by Sony, they usually don't give much attention to things. If Microsoft did half the stuff Sony did they would be all over it.

That sucks. I honestly wonder if they're not covering PSVR because Sony isn't really pushing it though? It seems like it was this big thing whose coverage has just kinda died.
