This is what I am listening to

Because of this scene from Wayne’s World

C’mon I had to end Songs from Movie Scenes with the Wayne’s World scene.

Good morning Pixlpeeps! Apparently the local library is closed on Friday’s. I guess I should have checked before I left the house but at least some thing really good came out of it, but more on that later. So it’s Friday which means Quick Hits time! Let’s get started!

Chris Watches…

The only thing I was excited about that was on TV this past week is the return of MTV’s The Challenge. This season the theme is War Of The Worlds which now has more international reality TV personalities. The teams are made up of a man and a woman, with one being a vet, and the other being a rookie. The game is a lot more equal now instead of last season’s “equalizers” that really didn’t make it even. Also this season’s cast doesn’t have the group of people who all they did was cause drama (thank goodness). It’s back to competition, some drama, and some romance.

Chris Reads…

I started my audio book a couple of days ago but really haven’t been sucked into it yet, so it’s on hold for a day or two. I was going to try this feature at the library where you check out an actual book,  but they were closed. I might just browse their eBooks and find something, or go into my comic book library and read some of those issues.

Chris Listens To…

I have a ton of music, but I’m also going through Spotify finding random songs. In my quest to clean out the hard drive that this time last year I backed up my digital library, I am almost done! I still need to download the stuff I bought from Amazon and Google Play, but that will come once I finish this task.

Randoms…

-It is freaking cold (California Cold, it topped out at 60°) and there is snow on the mountains.

-Next week the county fair is back, and I am going to once again eat lunch, wander a bit, debate on buying some random trinket, and before I leave buy a big doughnut. Speaking of a doughnut I kinda want one now.

-Since my face broke out a couple of years ago because I was eating sunflower seeds bought at a .99 cents store, I was told to avoid all nuts and seeds until I can get an allergy check. Yeah I still haven’t gone, but I found this product that my Chef Aunt posted on Instagram so I tried it out

Freaking A this is the closest thing I have eaten that is close to peanut butter that I’ve tried. I bought a loaf of white bread and jar and a day and a half later I am down to maybe four pieces of bread, and less than a jar of fake peanut butter. Saturday I am so going to buy another jar, and a Hershey’s bar.

Pickups

Games

So Walmart moved a bunch of games from their glass case to their wall of “budget” games and I bought this one for $19.93 (much more bounce, Ice Cube comin’ with the half ounce)

I have an actual sports game on the Switch! Yeah I know I also own RBI but that game is trash. More on this game on Monday

Music

So after I left the library parking lot, I hit the thrift store that is a block away because their CDs are .50 cents unless marked. Well I hit the gold mine today. For $14.00 I bought these albums

For $2.00 (Actually $1.50 after the color tag discount)

Flo Rida - R.O.O.T.S.

Pimsleur - Quick & Simple Spanish

I added a ton of Bob Dylan CDs

Infidels

Highway 61 Interactive

The Bootleg Series Volume 9: The Whitmark Demos 1962-64 (X2 bought the other one by accident)

Hard Rain

Biograph

Blonde On Blonde

The Bootleg Series 1961-1991 Volume 2

The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan

The Bootleg Series Voume 8: Tell Tale Signs

And the other CDs

The Cure - Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me

Jack Johnson - On and On

Original Broadway Cast - Joesph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Rod Stewart - Storyteller Discs 1-3 ( I couldn’t find 4)

Janis Joplin - Pearl

Red Hot Chili Peppers - What Hits

The Smiths - Best II

Various Artists - Reservoir Dogs

The last four albums are paper cases, and a sealed Classical album

Coldplay - Viva La Vida (I’m pretty sure I don’t own this)

U2 - The Flys CD Single

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young - Looking Forward Album Advance (I think it’s a sampler)

Benjamin Britten - War Requiem

On iTunes I bought this single because it got stuck in my head

Oh the shame is real.

After I upload this I am going to rip my new CDs and eat some breakfast. The lady in front of me in line was excited to see these albums because she said she grew up listening to them.

Alright Pixlpeeps I am off. I’m hungry, and I’d like to add these albums to my iTunes library. Have a good weekend!

That’s all for now, more later!

-Chris
