I'm close to finishing season 3 of Better Call Saul on Netflix and while Mike is my favorite character in either show, I'm a little annoyed his Breaking Bad antics are interrupting my realistic crime room and sibling rivalry drama. I think this show has a different, much more relaxed feel I actually prefer to Breaking Bad.
I've had my rental of Resident Evil 2 from GameFly for about a month now and only just made it to Mr. X. Apparently I've only actually played about 5 hours, which makes sense. I don't have a lot of time to spare lately and I'm playing other games like Yakuza 4 and DmC as well. I also downloaded my free PS+ copy of Sims 4, having never played a Sims game. I'm still on the tutorial but I'm not sure the game is for me.
I've been playing guitar more frequently again, though I still don't practice enough to make it worth more than a hobby.
Saw Birds of Prey and could not take my eyes off the woman playing Black Canary. I think I'm in love and would like a solo Black Canary movie. The movie was fun, much better and more inventive than Suicide Squad which I thought was ok, but pretty much what I was expecting. Some of the fight scenes got ridiculous in ways that reminded me of Yakuza, so that was neat.
I think I might see the Sonic movie this weekend.
How are you?
I binged watched the latter half of season 3 and all of season 4 recently, since season 5 is coming up. I fell off of watching TV shows a couple years ago, so I needed to catch up. It's a large time investment. But this shows is immensely gripping. I'm addicted again.
Yeah, I keep swearing off TV because of the massive time investment then getting gripped by some amazing show like this.
I'm good, thanks for asking. I don't think I'm going to even download Sims 4. I doubt that game is for me but even if I liked it, I don't need a time sink like that.
I wouldn't mind the time sink if I found anything in it interesting at all.
I want to try a SIms game. If it appears on Game Pass I'll give it a go.
Since I watched a lot of the Batman animated series from the 90s, I know a lot more about Batman characters than I do other comic book characters. So I actually know who most of the characters are in Birds of Prey, i think. I'll probably just wait until that Birds of Prey movie comes out on video or something. I dunno, unless you can think of a good reason why I should go see it now.
That Black Canary lady is pretty. The comic book character always looked kinda cool. Only other thing I know about that character is that I think she can yell really loud or something.
I saw the Sonic movie this past week. It was pretty bad. But I really liked one of the post credit scenes. Made me really happy. If you know how I am, you'll know what I'm talking about.
I'm just gonna say I don't think Birds of Prey would be your favorite movie ... I just can't see R rated movies about comic book villains being your thing. I could be wrong though.
We are on the exact same page on Black Canary though. lol
I'm guessing one of your favorite SEGA characters is involved in the post-credits?
I almost saw Birds of Prey but I didn't like the trailers that much. I like those characters though. I saw Suicide Squad. It was ok, but not great or really memorable.
