Just wanted to let you all know that my second episode of my podcast is up! This time brother Jeff and I talk about our top five favorite home game consoles! You’ll also learn how this podcast got its name, how one of Jeff’s first words was Donkey Kong, and what 16-bit game ending made him cry! Read on for links so you can listen!
Please listen to the podcast and let me know what you think in the comments section. Criticism is welcome, too, but please be gentle. We’re just starting out and learning the ropes, so we’ll get better over time. I’ll make other blog articles about future episodes when they are posted! Thanks so much for listening. Later! --Cary
You know Cary, I think a lot of people are feeling inspired to share Stuff they're creating right now.
Who else is sharing stuff they've created?
I'm just saying in general. A lot of people are staying home creating, and a lot of people are staying home consuming their creations.
True. In the last couple of months, I've heard from an acquaintance on the internet who is doing podcasts now as well, and I haven't heard from him in nearly 20 years!
You are a natural at this podcasting thing. You have a good voice for podcasting.
Well thank you! I credit it to my nearly nine years of telephone customer service job experience. :)
Funny stories there at the end.
My friend and I used to record ourselves talking while playing games in the 90s. I think we were a little ahead of our time too.
My top 5 consoles:
1. Xbox 360
2. N64
3. PSX
4. Genesis
5. Atari 2600
Those are some interesting picks for top five consoles! We share the same likes of the 360 and PSOne. The N64 was great, but it was the first console that caused me to want another one, which is when I bought the PlayStation. I never had a Genesis as a kid, nor did I have a 2600. My first home console was actually the 5200. I didn't have a 2600 because our first computer, the Apple ][+, had better games on it.
I'm curious to know what your top five favorite games of all time are now, from our first episode. Even though I haven't posted a blog about it yet, Episode 3 may be up right now. Thanks for listening!
Top 5 games is a tough one. It would be easy to list based on hours played but I don't know if that's my real fav 5. Oh well, here's 5 most played anyway.
1. Minecraft
2. Borderlands series
3. Dragon Quest series
4. Warcraft II
5. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord
