I was going to try "Waglton" or "Wagltn"
Gonna try to name the Dog Waggleton, definitely. I don't recall what the character limit is, but maybe we'll find a solid abbreviation.
Yup, you can. There's lots of ways to play the game out there, doesn't matter which one you choose.
I think there's enough interest to try. I'll start working on putting some things together pretty soon.
Essentially, yeah. Like a book club. A game club, I suppose. EarthBound is the title I've seen used plenty before, so we might as well, right? When it starts, we'll be moving at a slow pace. I'll probably get one or two people familiar with the game to help out with regular posts that provide more information.
EarthBound is one of those SNES games that can be played fairly quickly for a full-length RPG, since there's a lot of content that you can just move through fairly quickly if you don't mind not seeing it all. It's not too hard, and if you catch the streams I put up, I'll help make things look easier!
It is! On 3DS, Wii U, SNES Classic, and on the original SNES!
Might be the wrong one. I mostly have Mario videos! Here's a direct link:

It's more than just watching, if you all want. The idea would be to set goals by certain days, and everyone that wants to plays along. Individual challenges are discussed, posts are made, etc, etc. It's more a community matter than normal let's plays or streams.
thatguythatgames is my handle. Got a few uploads tonight, even!
I just finished the first part. It doesn't have a lot of spoilers, just an intro the story and mechanics. It's worth checking out to see how things play! It paints a clear picture of how the game operates pretty early on, I think. I hope.
All done. I'll be back Wednesday for Mario + Rabbids!
Thanks for joining! I'm doing round two at about 10:30, some Disney Epic Mickey. Gotta get a little ranty here.
Scratch that, my goal start time is 8:15.
I've purchased Zestiria now, and have tried to make the nVidia Gamestream COOP. We're trying to do it with the client using a GameCube controller attached via the GameCube Controller Adapter for the Wii U. Not having any luck so far, but there are a few things to sort out. I'll post updates if I get any!
I'll always remove 'em when I get a chance to log on and check things out on my computer, but I'll pass on it when I'm on my cell phone, since it's typically going to load everything slowly. However, I must say, you all seem to get to most of them first!
That seems to be the case for just about everyone I know. I wouldn't think they even sent any out, except for a sporadic giveaway I've seen on websites here and there. I guess they really wanted people to participate in that Humble Bundle...
I'll be honest, I think Molyneux is mischaracterizing what's been said. What I've seen (though I haven't looked into it,) is that in one interview he gave an example from his twitter feed.
"So when someone says, as they did on my Twitter feed, 'Why don't you just shut up and die?' You don't know whether that's from someone who is a 60-year-old or someone who's a 6-year-old."
That isn't a death threat. Someone wants him to die, yes, but no threat is being made. It is their desire. Allegorically, I'd imagine that's about as much of a death threat as masturbation is sexual battery. Granted, in this interview, he did not state this was a death threat, I believe his intention is for the audience to infer that it is one, and I think he embellished the idea in the Eurogamer interview. I don't know which interview occurred first, though.
Death threats are a serious matter, but by mentioning a death threat in this context in this interview, I don't believe his intentions are to shed light on the difficulties he's faced, but rather to paint those who believe he's been a dishonest man who's essentially part of a con game hosted by 22cans as people of ill repute. The reality is, he's lied. He's lied about lying and he's bragged about lying. Most recently, he's tried to recalibrate history in his favor by stating he's always tried to be completely honest with people. That statement is in the interview I posted in this comment.
A quick google search produced this article. Undoubtedly one of many covering the actual truth. Molyneux admitted on stage that he would lie to journalists to keep them interested in his games, particularly in the context of a convention or large conference, where journalists would interview and preview one game after another. He uses the phrase "over-promise" here, as well, but when you read the following line:
I'll second you on Ni no Kuni. I did play it all the way through, but at some point, the game became an excercise in redundancy. With the iffy collection mechanics and the somewhat questionable battle mechanics, the late-game just felt like one kinda dull fight after another. The story remained interesting, which kept me playing, but I'm not likely to buy the sequel without seeing some genuine improvements in those areas.
As far as X goes, I tried the first, Xenoblade, just one night for a PlayBit, and felt the world was too big for the degree of direction the game gave. I think Chronicles X does a better job in that sense, having played it much more than I played the first. I'm not even saying that's what the case is in the first game, just a quick impression that actually left more more overwhelmed than I feel with this game.
I've got Tales of the Abyss in my gaming Abyss, believe it or not.
I never played IX! I've heard great things about it, so when it finally releases on the PC, I plan to give it a good try.
I played 'em. I liked how you set up the Mario Museum.
Thanks for playing!
My stage I posted a blog about real quick:

It's called Low Tide. Remember not to dock your airships too low to the ground!
Day 1 purchase on Wii U.
Just remember, all the best podcasts are done solo.
;)
I used to try to do them weekly, but they never caught on at the time. It was kind of sad. Now my schedule wouldn't permit weekly ones. Oh well.
I believe most of the wrestlers know the ECW ended up joining the actual WWF. This resulted in some very confusing panda preservation videos that used some of ECW's classic lines, like "Hey, come on now!" or "No no no no no no!"
