The selling of an unfished game is wrong. Publishers and developers should have the decency to try to sell a polished finished product. I would like to use Blizzard as an example, they put their games to market once they are ready and have the approval of performing up to Blizzards standards before they sell a game. I understand that sometimes due to cost and other outside factors some games are rushed to the market place, but that no excuse to sell a broken game from the start. I personally do not buy any games on day one because of this problem. I feel bad for those who buy a game, have no internet connections, and can't download the patch.

So much for a good aliens game. I was hoping this game would have been better because who doesnt want to go out and kill aliens? It sucks that this game was not done right.

BrokenH,

You are correct on how MMO's require a huge time commitment. Thats another reason why I like EVE. If I only have time to play an hour then I only play for that hour and then go do something else. Another thing I like is that your skills are trained real time even when you are off line, another reason why I like it.

I switched over to PC gaming once I got married and my wife was against consoles. Little did she know that by letting me play on a PC that it would be worse than a console because you can get great games for $5 on Steam. I now have a huge game library, play lots of MMO's and don't think that I will ever buy a console for gaming unless its to play with family or friends.

I have not had a console since my wife and I bought a wii. We bought it so that we can play together, and for that purpose it filled the role quite well. For hard core gaming I relly on my trusty PC. With that said I will be very interested to see what developers and what games end up in each system.
