Sold! I want one.
I loved this game when I was younger. I wish I knew where the copy I had of it ended up. Probably still at a old friend's house where I visited and then forgot to pack it up. Shame, really.
I love rhythm games! When I read your list I was excited to see that I've played all of these in one incarnation or another except for HarmoKnight. I've never even heard of that one before.
I've got a few that I really enjoy as well:
Mad Maestro, Frequency, and Amplitude are all excellent rhythm based games for the PS2. If you haven't you should at least give them a try.
Things are going great here. Still working on Just Cause 2 and Pinball FX in my down time. It's hard to get some real time in when your job occasionally takes 650-55 hours of your week from you. Anyway, glad to hear that you're still plugging away at Ni No Kuni. Hopefully it's a pleasant and beautiful journey!
Arkham Origins: YES!
The Evil Within: YES!
A Link to the Past sequel: YES!
I agree. This is a very good time to be a gamer. Now if the next generation of consoles doesn't suck, everything should be just fine.
Sorry to hear about all of the troubles surrounding the game and people who have already bought a copy of it. Good news for me though, I've had my eye on it for quite some time now and have just never gotten around to picking it up. Now I have even more reason to go out a grab it.
I was so happy to see that Rush was finally being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. Now if we could only get Genesis in there. Dragon Age and Bayonetta are both awesome games. Draon Age is one of those great BioWare RPGs and Bayonetta is just over the top, tongue in cheek, comepletely unsubtle action with crazy settings, weapons combos and just about everything else you can think of. I hope you have fun with them both.
Demon's Souls and LocoRoco. Two great tastes that taste great together.
Dead Kel was all right, a bit more of the same. Teeth has some awesome new weapons and armour that I really liked!
Another Atlus game that I want to pick up now that I've heard about it. Damn, do they do anything I don't want to get?
Here in Chi-town there's quite a few gaming stores that operate on a used/retro model. I'll take pics and post next time I hit one up.
It's heartless and horrifying, but we can prove our worth and become better people because and in spite of it. Boston, MA. Be strong.
It sounds cliche, but these are the circumstances under which people prove their worth. Strength in mind, body and spirit. Boston, MA. Be strong.
It is. Thank you. Boston, MA. Be strong.
That is a lot of NES carts. I love it. I wish I had that many old school games. Maybe I should pick up the banner for myself here and start roaming the used and retro game stores.
I bought a copy of The Getaway a while back and have never put it into the PS2. I suppose I should do that someday soon, before the graphics really start to look too dated.
I need the Hyrule Historia! That book looks amazing. Thank you for showing me that such a book exists in this world.
Folklore? Why do I know that name? Maybe I read about ti before, but didn't recall until now. Either way, looks intriguing. Maybe I should see if there's a copy out there somewhere.
Video games! Guns! Chicago! These are a few of my favorite things. Speaking of which I have a slice of deep dish to eat.
Happy to hear you're doing well. And glad to hear that your impressed with your games choices. It's always nice to hear that people can still get blown away by something out of the blue games wise. The industry needs more moments like that I think.
I've spent so much time at work the past week and a half, I missed a lot of blogs and am doing my catch up today. As far as ME goes, as our friends across the pond might say, Keep Calm and Carry On.
Ah, fighting games. So little to love, but so much love for so little.
Seriously, I feel the same way. I really like fighting games, but only for about the first 20 minutes before I really start getting my ass handed to me, because it's been a long time since I really sat down and worked out combos and moves for fighting game characters. That being said, I still find them interesting and wish I could get back into that mindseto of really getting into a fighting game like I used to.
Very interesting. I may have to try to track a copy down. Maybe hit up one of the used stores in town that isn't Gamestop.
Nice vid, man. Rogue Galaxy! I forgot about that one. And I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one who played KoA: Reckoning.
Oh yes, it will be mine.
