Haha, surprised coming from you Broken since you've been an XBOX360 person in the past; but not so surprised given your recent blog regarding XBone (lol). Think Microsoft turned a lot of Microsoft fans into Sony fans in two fell swoops (with their two XBone reveal conferences, lol). Well. Sucks to be them.

Spark does indeed look awesome; sort of forgot to mention it. I think it's great more for fans who are into game design and Indie developers, but for me personally, perhaps not so much...!

It's more just the concept of the game I'm excited about, Joe. The premise just sounds fantastic. I also kind of like the action-y spin on the game; changes things up a bit. Plus- the game is beautiful. I cannot believe it's a video game, looks like a movie.

I understand about the exclusives; but we'll have to let Sony wow us with exclusives once developers jump on board the system (aka once they realize that gamers like it better, lol)

Nintendo is just a little bit 'boring' at the moment, in my opinion; you know, they just keep focusing on the same old series, most of their games are slated for 2014, they really haven't taken advantage of the year 'advantage' they've had over Sony and Microsoft since they released the Wii U earlier. Anyways. Just ranting.

Agreed. Microsoft just keeps slapping gamers in the face. I. am. so. done with them. Period.

I especially agree with points:
-1 (that was an extremely ignorant thing for them to say. Worst quote ever; besides that weird little bit of back and forth during the Killer Instinct demo at the conference, which was so messed)
- 7/10: restriction on used games kills me. I just don't get it, at all. 
- 8: Yikes, I do NOT get the need to constantly connect to the internet. Being a JRPG player mainly, and not ascribing to the MMO gameplay inherent in a lot of FPS games, its just plain backwards. Plus the whole potential for Big Brother like spying and such. Just.... bad idea.

Absolutely, I 100% agree. Lalabit collectors edition already announced for Japan, so just waiting on the collectors ed announcement for NA/Europe :)

I'm kind of angry we never got the PS3 version either; especially with all the additional stuff that was added to the game (additional character- Patty; extra costumes; more scenes etc). So that was definitely a downer, although I believe Baba has renewed his faith in the North American/European market.

I could go on forever about Xillia and Xillia 2 since I love both, but main point: both are great games, but 2 edges out 1 just because you get the original cast, a couple of extra characters from the original and a few awesome new ones; plus plot is a bit better imo :) Can't wait for august 6th!

I agree, Para Eve 1 = favorite = win.  Have fun with 3rd Birthday, although- given Para Eve 1's awesomeness.... well. I'll await your review, lol.

Heh, I'm probably one of the ones who was looking for said copy- good on you mothman for getting your hands on one; since that day, I've been a hardcore pre-orderer (lol, it scarred me for life). Only half kidding!

@Jon: Loved the game too Jon but unfortunately my first playthrough was a bit mangled given the fact that I got a corrupted (used, to be completely honest) game disc and had to search around for another copy... which at the time, was hard to find since it was a bit of a rarer game by the time I got to it.

Needless to say, Symphonia was my portal into the Tales world as well and I'll always treasure it; hence would love to run through it again without any silly interruptions. While not my favorite game in the series (that honor would go to either Abyss or Xillia 2, which I just completed (import)), I'm still extremely excited to experience it again. And ToS 2 = icing on the cake.

ToS2 = actually not horrible imo, just didn't like Emil. I liked Tenebrae tho, for sure!

Can't wait to replay this game since my memories of it are a bit skewed; intially bought it and my game disc was corrupt so froze at one boss every single time; spent a month trying to find another game disc; etc etc. Bit of a runaround so can't wait to experience the whole thing with no mid game glitches, heh.

I know, sad that the Wii version of Graces never made it here; espec for those Tales fans that only have a Wii and no PS3.... someone always gets shafted. Same way I felt when ToV PS3 never came here; c'mon, 360 only in North America? Bah. Hope that things change now that Baba realizes North America is in love with Tales as much as Japan is, heh.

Annnnyways. From my perspective kind of glad it's a PS3 HD remaster since imo Wii U graphics still don't measure up, but it's all a matter of perspective. Bit biased towards Sony as well tbh. But just glad it's coming here in some way shape or form!

Nice, and yet another game to add to my neverending backlog :D   (heh); all sarcasm aside, good review- but I do agree it needs a bit more of a 'persona' vibe....

Definitely sounds stressful; sometimes I can't even handle having people I know quite well wandering around my lair, let alone those I don't know well, poking and snooping into ever nook and cranny. Feel for you, man- just grit your teeth and get through it, thats all I can say- good luck!

My advice: go for it with the personal blogs. We're all people, and I think we all appreciate getting to know each other as human beings- not just our 'gamer selves' but the whole package. Plus, I guess I'm a bit of an optimist, but I'd like to think that if we have problems to discuss, the community here on pixlbit would be here as a sounding board. Although... I suppose I don't have to guess at that fact, given the comments *above*. So just go for it; say what you want, when you want, and don't worry about what 'should' or 'shouldn't' be said.

I've done stupid things before like going on the internet in order to find out something about a game that I thought was relatively innocuous (example: looking up the voice actor for a certain character) and then accidentally spoiling the entire game. Usually by going the character entries in Wikipedia (right underneath where said voice actor is listed), and reading the character descriptions and learning that so and so dies. Ridiculous. Definitely learned my lesson in that regard.
What really does grind my gears is going to forums to chat about a certain game/anime/show and reading comments that don't give ANY warning whatsoever, and drop a huge spoiler- especially if its a series similar to Game of Thrones, where there's a book/manga series which is ahead of the timeline as compared with the show....and someone starts to discuss events in books 4/5 when the series is only effectively on book 3.   Definitely uncool. 

Itch games- I hear ya on that note. If I might throw in another category- what I call Impulse games; reason is: you buy them on impulse, and then realize you don't really want to play the game in the first place.
Happens to me on occassion, and usually if I realize that a game is an 'Impulse' game, II just sell it/trade it in. Feel guilty for not playing it, but might as well get some value out of it in the end, even if it was a stupid purchase in the first place.
