I got Enchanted Arms a month or two ago, still haven't played it yet. I knew it was a turn-based RPG which seems so rare nowadays, it seems most RPGs made now are action RPGs. Nothing wrong with that, I just like turn-based better.

After reading your blog, now I want to get started on the game. I am very intrigued by the golum creation/party member system.

I consider the generation that had the Super NES and Genesis retro, and even then just barely. I think it's cool that they are coming out with the cheap, 'retro' consoles that will play SNES, Genesis and Nintendo games all in one. What was old is new again.

What do you think of Bullet Witch? It got horrid reviews when it first came out, but it is cheap now, plus I have a fondness for games that other people trash. I really like Duke Nukem Forever and Golden Axe:Beast Rider, for instance. No joke.

I got this game a little while back, it looked cool and yes, it was only 5 bucks used. I grew up playing turn-based, grind heavy JRPGs, so it's right up my alley. Only played a bit of it, to make sure the game worked, but plan to go back to it posthaste. Yeah, the voice acting ain't great, but I've heard worse.

At least you got Beyond Good and Evil, that's a great game. It seems there will be a sequel, but who knows when? It's turning into a Kingdom Hearts 3 or Duke Nukem Forever. (Which of course did actually come out, and really is not a bad game, all things considered. I'd recommend it, only 5 bucks at Gamestop. THAT game you should find easily. :)

I hope you can still get Fatal Frame Crimson Butterfly. I got the game a while ago, and it's terrifying (which is the point, of course.) I think I paid maybe 20 used for it, but the game seems very hard to find, so I lucked out, I guess. 

I would perhaps call the Gamestop you saw FF:CB at, and if it is still there see if they will hold it for you. It may be just for a day, but that's one day no one else can get it. Good luck.

I got Bulletstorm:Epic Edition for 10 bucks and I LOVE IT!!! I like the storyline (guy seeks revenge) simple as it is, and the banter may be juvenile but it's hilarious. The skillshots are ingenious and really add to the game, making it not as mindless as some shooters are. (That's a good thing.)

Since I got the game used I didn't get an online code, but that's fine by me, the single player is a bucket of fun by itself. Like you said, going online would ruin the fun. ;)

Haven't seen Django Unleashed and Skyfall yet, but Brave is awesome. Chalk up another win for Pixar. 

Yay that you got Suikoden 2! I'm not a big fan of the series, myself, but I have played some of the games in the series and enjoyed them. Still have to play more Suikoden Tierkreis for the DS, it's pretty good except for the terrible voice acting.

Shadow Hearts:Covenant is an awesome JRPG! I also recomend the other games in the series:Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts:From the New World. Good stuff.

Just the red and black ones, from what I remember. Would have been really cool to see spotted ones! Maybe those are not native to this particular area.

I have the PS2 Culdcept, it's a great game. I play it with my wife and she always kicks my ass! :) I'd like to get Culdcept Saga, but I can't find it anywhere. Maybe Amazon has it.

I got a PSP 3000 about 6 months ago, love it. Among the games I've gotten for the portable are Alien Syndrome, God of War:Chains of Olympus,Kingdom Hearts:Birth by Sleep,Crisis Core-FF 7,Castlevania:The Dracula X Chronicles,Killzone Liberation,Darkstalkers Chronicle:The Chaos Tower, both Untold Legends, and both Coded Arms. Hope you enjoy yours as well!

Dang, I wish I could I draw as well as you. I can imagine stuff in my head, but I can't translate it to paper. Must be some sort of brain-to-hand short circuit. :)

The sequel to Brave Fencer Musashi for the Playstation 2, called Samurai Legend Musashi, also by Square(Enix), is a great, underated game, with an awesome cell-shaded art style  and fun gameplay, IMHO. I got it cheap years ago at Circuit City (when it existed as a brick and morter store), don't know if you can still get it cheap in physical form or if you can get it on PSN, but I highly recommend it,myself.

I have heard of but not seen Fantastic Planet, which is strange because I like out-there movies.Maybe Netflix has it....

Salamanders! Used to find the cute critters under rotting logs in the forest in the back of my family house growing up. Slimy little guys but damn adorable. I would always put them back where I found them; I was always (and still am) very curious about the wildlife, great and small in Massachusetts

Speaking of which, you can also hear the peepers from the forest in the back of the condo complex where I live now, around about sundown. Love the sound also, as it is a herald of spring. . 

Wow, Hardware. Haven't seen that in ages. Remember it and liked it, though. 

Most zombie movies suck nowadays, I recommend Dead Alive or any of the Return of the Living Dead movies

Binary Domain looks good. May get that in the future.
