It's been about 3 years or so since I last posted on here and thought that it was a good time to start the blog again. One thing I'm sure we can all agree on is that games have changed a lot in these past 3 years. For example, Until Dawn was definitely a masterpiece in the survival horor/butterfuly effect style of games with the amount of positive reviews it received.

I got to watch little bit of E3 and from what I've seen, it's one of the best ones yet. I really like the amount of mystery that these games offer. Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding? What is the game about with the trailer shown? What is the genre? It's really interesting and I'm glad Hideo still kept up work with Norman Reedus. Detroit Becoming Human by Quantic Dream is a new genetaion of Heavy Rain, but with a different story line.

The biggest plot twist to me was Resident Evil 7. I was thinking that Resident Evil 7 would be a traditional first person shooter as the series has been since the beginning, but this was more of a PT type of design. The song, the mystery, that's what made the trailer so different. Also, the fact that it's VR compatible adds another change as well. I read an article how people played the VR demo of Resident Evil 7 and were nauseus/sweating a lot. I saw a walkthrough of the Demo and the different endings gives me the impression that it's a decision making game that still has a straightforward story line.

Overall, I can say that I was very impressed with E3 and many other games that were showcased.

Hey nice to see u again.

I always tell myself to buy until dawn for my brother but still haven't. It's totally up his alley though.

I liked heavy rain but I haven't played beyond two souls. I'd like to though.

The thing that makes the game so interesting is that there's not really a straightforward story line. It's all up to the gamer and that's what makes it so different. I think games like that can have people playing them over and over again to change stories around or to find things that weren't found before

Well this year's E3 wasn't very good for me as far as my tastes in games are concerned.  If you get a chance, check out my E3 blog here.  Have a great day!
