So this is my first real official blog, so I will tell you somethings about myself as a gamer. I am a vetern of 30 plus years of gaming........I started out with a Colecovision, kicking my brothers butt on Baseball.......I then went onto NES and have always had system since.Playstation is my system of choice. I pride myself on completing every game I put in my machine, and really enjoy getting Trophies, I will usually complete a game and very rarely return to it. I don't have alot of time to game, so I need to use my time playing good games. I usually will play one story game and a little sports on the side. I don't play alot of multiplayer games, As I was never really raised as a gamer that way.I would rather play Castlevania , when my friends were playing Street Fighter. But I will play some Call of Duty occasionally with my friends, instead of a phone call, we can mike up and chat and catch up.

So I decided to try out Dishonored this weekend, I am not a huge fan of stealth based games, but heard this game was really good, and assumed you could play through it with out stealth if you desired. So I started the game and it seemed very skyrimish, the story was just ok, I felt like I had played it before......but anyways, I tried to play it without stealth ,killing everthing i had to, but it was extremley tough, I died so much, that I eventually got frustrated and took it out, I really didn't want to play it out stealth, but it seems I may have to.......I would really like to complete this game....cause lately I have not been finishing my games...this is weird for me......I may revisit it when I'm feeling stealthy!!!!!!!

Going to move on to Ni No Kuni....with a little bit of Need for Speed Most wanted thrown it........MLB the show might catch my attention as well.

Stealth games are certainly an acquired taste.  I hate stealth parts in non-stealth games, but I have enjoyed stealth games like Hitman and Splinter Cell and the original Thief games that kind of invented it.

I haven't played Dishonored yet, but I do own it, for PC.  I wanted to play it in surround sound and my little surround sound thing is broken for my PC so I need to get that fixed first though.

Maybe you can adjust the difficulty setting, so you can go through it while killing everyone?

Playing all stealthy or all, uh, loudly would be tough. It's easiest to fall some place in the middle. Dishonored got a lot of love from a lot of people, but not enough in my opinion. It really hit my sweet spot.
