So I'm actually going to talk about video games again!

This is Colorfilm, where I talk about movies I've seen or like. Sometimes these will be reviews and sometimes they'll be casual summaries and sometimes they'll be discussions about various concepts in the film industry. I'm not a big movie viewer but I'm constantly facinated with the literary devices used and how popular movies reflect us as a society. I watch a variety of movies such as action flicks like Broken Arrow or rom coms such as No Strings Attached or dramas such as J. Edgar. I have been called a Disney nerd for my knowledge of many of that company's films and I have been known to watch independent and art house films as well. With that being said, lets get right down to it.

While video games are a major hobby in my life, that's not all I spend my time on. Music has been an important part of my life and I adore all kinds of music. Rock, pop, country, classical, hip-hop, folk, the list goes on. Whether its popular or underground, I am constantly looking and listening to different kinds of music. So in this new blog series, I'll nerd out on different music that I like or dislike. Topics will vary from artists to albums to genres to anything I can think of. As long as it's music related I'll discuss it in this series.

I spend so much time online that I rarely watch television anymore. However, I watch a vast assortment of web shows. In this blog series, I'll highlight some that I like to watch. If there are arguments as to why services like YouTube, Blip, and Revision 3 should be available on televisions, they're here.

So I'm playing some Project Gotham Racing 3 yesterday and I select the option to see what DLC is available and it returns me nothing. The leaderboards seem to still be up but no DLC. I know this game has DLC because I already have the Cadillac pack. I exit out of the game and check the game's listing in the My Games section. Nothing. I look for it in the Marketplace. Nothing. For almost all intents and purposes, this game never existed according to Microsoft. Why are some games completely abandoned by the Xbox Live service?

E3's around the corner but that hasn't stopped the news from piling in the week before! For the second year in a row, Konami has released a video showcasing their announcements in lieu of an actual press conference so let's get through what was revealed in a little over 32 minutes.

Another day, another chance to play Diablo III. I’ve never played a Diablo game or anything similar to it before but having tried it now, I get why everyone adores this series and have been pining for it for over a decade. I sit down in front of my computer monitor, launch the game, log in and within minutes, I’m back where I left off the day before.

After a few months of plowing through various games, I've been drifting back and forth between various games. I did manage to complete Assault Heroes for XBLA during that time but that's about it that I can remember. FYI, Assault Heroes, an okay game. Fun shooter but paced a bit sluggishly. So rather than writing about what I've been playing, I'm just going to write about what I plan on playing.
