I recently completed The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai after initially giving up on the game. I got stuck on a boss but I went back and devised a strategy to defeat him. It was some giant robot on wheels with homing missiles or something crazy like that. Afterward, the game was relatively simple to get through. I did beat it on Easy but that was because I tried Normal difficulty when I first started and didn't get too far. I think I reached the second level and that was it. I will try to complete the other difficulties later because I really enjoyed this game. What I would really like to do is try co-op. If anyone wants to team up, let me know. Great game and I recommend it.

In a previous blog, I said that my New Year Resolution was to overcome my fear of Horror movies and Survival Horror games. Since then, I've watched Child's Play and then got lazy but I now I've got a couple of movies lined up to watch and see if I can get through them. On the game front, however, it hasn't gone so well.

I'm canceling my Gamefly account. I realized that I would rent games but not play them too much because I'm busy playing games I already have and haven't completed. Also, I have trouble investing myself in games I don't own for some reason and more importantly, there's enough demos coming out on Xbox Live that I'll already know which games I'll enjoy and which I won't. The point of Gamefly for me was to try new games so I don't waste money buying bad ones (which is the point of renting games from anywhere). Demos are doing that for me now so I don't really need Gamefly anymore. So I'm using my remaining $5 off on Deus Ex: Human Revolution and replacing that with Hulu Plus. I watch TV shows more than anything else so its weird I don't have it anyways.

Here's a blog I wanted to write almost two months ago but never got around to it. I completed Fable III around the end of January and I wanted to say my final impressions on the game. This isn't a review, per se, as I'm not going to explain how the game works or plays or anything. This is merely my final thoughts, complaints and praises on the game. Oh and SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't played this game. This blog is full of them.

I hate it when this happens. I'm looking to pick up a few new games for my upcoming birthday but I don't think I can afford it. There are eight games in total to consider: Far Cry 2, Sonic Generations, Rayman Origins, BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, Tales of Vesperia, Mass Effect, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.

I've been playing a lot of video games recently so let's get into this. First things first, I completed Prince of Persia this past Friday. This is my second time going through it, first time with my PC copy of the game and I loved it. That game does truly give you an experience. I also have been playing Condemned on the PC as I try to overcome my fear of horror games. It's not going well. I stopped playing about halfway through the second level. I'll keep trying though (someday). I also started playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance on the PC and I was having a great time with it. I went all the way to the sixth level (which is about halfway through the game) when my save game file became corrupted and some sort of fatal error screwed up the install files for the game so now I'm screwed and I can't play anymore. I'm thinking of getting the Gold edition of the game for the Xbox 360, as it has eight more characters, but that sucker's like $40-70 bucks!

This is going to be a shorter one. As I continue to go through Prince of Persia, I'm noticing the artfulness of the graphics and presentation. In my previous blog, I stated I didn't think the game's graphical style was artistic and was merely nice looking. However, I now see that the way those graphics are presented is something I consider to be artistic. The way it looks is fine but the way the world is presented is a metaphor of the world amass in distortion and then started anew.
