The $10 price point makes it a no brainer, even if the pinball and RPG elements do not mix well.

I'm really happy to know this game finally came together.

Also, really dig the music from Home Movies. I love that show.  Really wish Netflix would bring it back.

Glad someone appreciated the music! I was really sweating what to pepper the show with this time.

Yeah, I'm picking it up on Angelo's hype, and 10 bucks makes it an easy decision.

It was a nice surprise to see that it has a week one discount as well on the PSN.

Was hoping for more in-depth Olive Garden discussion Tongue Out I disagree with the gift giving thing though. Wouldn't you rather give someone what they really want? Then they'll remember that you're the one that game them something super-amazing that they always wanted--which of course, is the true spirit of giving.

I have yet to eat at taco bell this month. Also, Dragon Age Legends was real good, and it still exists (I didn't realize it was spun out into a game and kept around after DA2 came out): dragonagelegends.com.

What? No wall of text this time?  LOL! Always good to hear from you though :-)

I'm sure I mentioned this somewhere, but they could take the framework for that game, add some more story and mechanics, put it into a nice-looking graphics engine, and I would totally buy this on 3DS or iOS or even PSN. It's that good.

Honestly, if Heroes of Dragon Age had just been this with a new coat of paint I would have been tickled.

I'm one of those people who listens to the podcast on my daily commute, so it usually takes a couple of days to get through it and then a couple of days to get around to commenting...if I can remember what it is I was going to say, that is.

You guys talked about iOS a lot (I remember that much!) and I've always been fond of iOS gaming. It can't supplant traditional gaming but there is a lot of fun to be had. You guys mentioned, though, how you usually go with free-to-play games to avoid the risk that comes with buying games you know nothing about. I get around this problem with by using Touch Arcade, which is a site all about iOS gaming. Their mobile app has an awesome feature called the Watch List. When you put a game in your Watch List, the app will notify you whenever the game is updated or there's a price change. By reading the site and poking around in their forums I've garnered a pretty huge Watch List and so have gotten a ton of paid games for free just by being patient. Using their app is an easy recommendation to make.

As for actual free-to-play games, I think the last one I really sunk significant time into was Disco Zoo but that was a good, I don't know, six months ago. Cool game though. You play a little Battleship-esque game to collect animals for your ever-growing zoo. There have been some updates since then, including one that took things into space, but I never did get back to it after maxing everything out initially. I downloaded Monster Strike after listening to the show but haven't tried it yet. Sounds like fun!

Angelo, you worried me for a second when you mentioned Backloggers and then said you were playing Amnesia. I was afraid I had missed something! But I checked my podcasts and saw nothing new, so I guess that's just a personal thing? That's probably just as well. My second son is just two-and-a-half months old, which means I'm still getting up a lot in the middle of the night. I probably would not want that game on my mind!

Anyway, good job rocking the two-man show, guys. Looking forward to the next one.

I'll have to check that out now that I once again have an iOS device that is supported. I've been spending way too much time with Knights & Dragons and I don't know why. It is not a good game, but I am sadly enjoying it more than Dragon Age at this point...
