Holy crap, PixlBit's now 7!

Well folks, believe it or not, PixlBit turns 7 years old today. Thanks to the hard work of a whole lot of people and all of you fans, we've somehow made it this far. I know some of you have been around from the beginning, others for many years at this point, and I sincerely thank all of you for making PixlBit one of my favorite spots on the internet.

It's hard to believe that when sitting down in a cabin and talking to Chessa about our future, that 7 years later we'd still be running the site we'd go on to create just a month after our first conversation. For a long time we toiled away day and night, producing content and working hard with very little viewership for our work. But I'll never forget the day that the site's numbers jumped and user accounts were created in droves and blogs were posted by the bulk load. It was an incredibly happy day where all of the hard work finally felt like it paid off.

Since that day, I've gotten to know many of the readers here and I'm happier now to have those relationships. So to cut this thing short, I just want to reiterate how thankful I am to all of you for your readership and for just being all-around great people. You make this site worth running and you're the reason it's still around. Happy 7th Birthday, PixlBit. Here's to 7 more!
