Atlus Making Another High School RPG

This title ins't related to the Persona series.

New scans from the latest edition of Famitsu indicate that Atlus is hard at work on another JRPG set within a high school titled, Tokyo Mono Hara Shi.

This upcoming game has nothing to do with other Atlus franchises that follow a similar premise - more specifically, the Persona series. Instead, this new title is based off of the Tokyo Majin series; a popular anime in Japan that first aired in 2007.

The anime follows the tale of a group of high school students, all endowed with supernatural power. The group of teens go out during the evening to fight "Reborn Dead" which are causing people to turn into living corpses. Part of the story within the game will revolve around cursed Hanafuda cards, which the game's central mystery is based around.

This is not the first title to be based off the popular series. Up until now, Marvelous has owned the rights to the series and has published all titles related to it. According to Siliconera, Atlus has acquired the rights in order to make this RPG.

Tokyo Mono Hara Shi will release Q2 2010 in Japan for the PSP.

So...it's Persona 3. This game needs to come out in America. If not, I'm learning Japanese/Kanji and moving to Japan.
