This is a change from Ubisoft's recent treatment of its PC titles.
The PC version of Assassin's Creed Revelations will not come with always-on DRM. Ubisoft confirmed to Rock, Paper, Shotgun that players need to be online when they first start the game, but that after that, no connection is needed.
A release date has been leaked on a New Zealand reatailer.
God of War IV's release date may have been leaked by New Zealand retailer MightyApe. September 28, 2012 is the date they have listed. Sony has yet to confirm the release date or if the game is even in development.
So many deals, so little money...
Here's a list of items that will be on sale at WalMart on Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year, which is the day after Thanksgiving. Stand out deals are the Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle and PS3 160 GB bundle.

Spike TV's Video Game Awards has become a popular place to stage major release reveals. Last year’s show saw the announcement of Skyrim which will see release this Friday and a host of other major releases such as Portal 2, Batman: Arkham City and the still mysterious Guillermo Del Toro’s Insane.
XP rewards are also changed.
Today, a patch for Dead Island was released for the PlayStation 3. Tomorrow, it will be released for the Xbox 360. The new patch will make many changes and fixes many of the bugs that have plagued the game since its release.

HD collections seem to be all the rage these days. The craze began with Sony’s release of the God of War collection – collecting the first two games in the series – on the PS3. This was promptly followed up by the HD Sly Cooper Collection, also on the PS3.
Players will have to wait for the PC version for another week.
Warner Bros. Interactive announced that the PC release of Batman: Arkham City will be delayed by one week. Previously, the port was announced to be coming out on November 15, 2011, a delay from the console versions, which was released three weeks ago on October 18, 2011. Now it seems players will have to wait until November 22, 2011, with European gamers waiting until November 25.
