We don't like to use the "D" word around these parts.

With Diablo III exploding onto the world and making headlines for everything from its high sales numbers to its controversial internet connection requirements, it seems as if Blizzard’s new monster is set to dominate the gaming landscape for some time to come. If you’ve read my review you know that I’m rather fond of that game. Perhaps you’re still not impressed. Perhaps you yearn for a game less streamlined that plays more like the Diablo of yore. That’s the exact sentiment that Runic Games is banking on with Torchlight II--a love letter to Diablo II in a post-Diablo III world. But let’s just not talk about Diablo for now, shall we?

And it's amazing.

We’re at a point in time when a plethora of franchises from the early days of gaming are reaching major milestones.  Just one of those storied game series is Street fighter, which is celebrating its 25^th anniversary all year long.  Capcom has already announced that they would be holding a global tournament series to mark the occasion, but Street Fighter fans and video game collectors will surely be much more excited about the newly announced Street Fighter 25^th Anniversary Collector’s Set.

2013 is shaping up to be a ruckus of a gaming year.

Joining an ever growing list of highly anticipated games, Ninja Theory’s take on the Devil May Cry franchise, DmC, won’t be making it to consoles this year.  The controversial title will still be making appearance at this year’s E3 (just a mere two weeks away now), but won’t be out to retail until January 15, 2013.
