The latest Elite content pack for March includes drops four, five, and six. Unlike the singular release from February, March's content is more abundant, including a new multiplayer map titled Black Box and two new Spec Ops missions, Black Ice and Negotiator.

Square Enix previously announced both Theatrhythm Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] for the US, but failed to provide a release date for either. Today, both titles have received western release dates, and both are coming in July. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy kicks the month off with a July 3 release date and Kingdom Hearts 3D closes it out, releasing on July 31. For those who can't wait, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy will be playable at PAX East at the Square Enix booth (#850).

Killer is Dead is Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture's latest work, and though the name seems to imply it, the title bears no relation to their past work, Killer 7.

Today, Harmonix officially announced Rock Band Blitz for both Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Rather than utilize the peripheral instruments that have made the series a hit, Blitz requires players only have a controller on the ready to play the beat-match title. Just like Amplitude and Frequency, Rock Band Blitz brings multi-track arcade gameplay that has players switching between instruments on-the-fly to replicate the song.

The PC version of Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is official and it will include more than its console brethren. Michel Gagne and Joe Olson of Shadow Planet Productions revealed that it will include the cooperative "Shadow Hunters" downloadable content for free.

Activision has confirmed the release date for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. The game hits store shelves on August 28, 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The announcement was made in a new trailer that can be seen here.

Unit 13 hearkens back to a day when shooters were delivered without an overarching story. Instead, they were comprised of a set of chopped up missions, each with their own specific objective. It's a design that works exceedingly well on the portable Vita platform, allowing you to consume one mission at a time if you're tight for time. Despite its praiseworthy delivery of content, the experience is a bit too homogenous to remain entertaining for more than forty missions. A lackluster online offering and a dubious scoring system only serve to provide further frustrations, bringing down an otherwise solid experience.

UPDATE: The game will be a sequel to the Sega Genesis title Castle of Illusion and will feature drawing items and weapons with the stylus. Robert Bowling, Infinity Ward's creative strategist, has resigned from Activision. He made the announcement yesterday over Twitter. "Today, I resign from my position as Creative Strategist of Call of Duty, as a lead of Infinity Ward, and as an employee of Activision," he said.
