My son alerted me to the fact that I have stuff in our Steam inventory to give away or trade.
First, even though everyone probably already has these I have Half Life 2 and Half Life Episode 1 to give away. Sold to Super Step!
I also have a copy of The Ship because it seems that Dan's gift came with a second copy for me to gift,
Then I have stuff to trade although I have no clue how to do it.
The trades are:
90% off Deponia so that's 2 bucks
90% off The Book of Unwritten Tales - 2 bucks or 2.50 depending on whether you choose the regular or Digital Deluxe version.
These trades are good until October 14th.
As usual PM me if you want any of this stuff or have something interesting to trade.
You people and your Steam games. Sigh.
I know we r nuts.
I've never actually played Half-Life 2. Am I missing out on something good?
If you like shooters, it's definitely a pivotal point in that genre's evolution. I haven't touched it in a couple of years, but I'm guessing it doesn't hold up really well, but is still worth playing. The only real beef people seem to have with it is that it is linear. It's from a time when that was pretty typical and it is done really well.
I don't have a problem rockin' dat old skool. I am old skool. I'm just not sure that some of these games hold up as well as they once did. I don't mind trying old things for archeological purposes.
You should at least try it. Heck, I played it on the original Xbox, it had the worst load times of any game I've ever played, but I loved it.
I read the game was available on PSN or something. Half-life 1 I think?
Okay, I haven't played a lot of modern shooters, but I thought Half-Life 2 aged just fine.
You're missing out one of the best things since sliced bread. Okay, i'm exagerating, but I thought Half-Life 2 was pretty darn amazing.
Steam addict mothman lol!!! Your worse then me with Google play ha ha!!
I had never looked in the inventory section because I didn't know what it was for. Apparently Steam awards you gifts and discounts for whatever reason. There are also trading cards in there. I don't know what those are for either. :D
I have a bunch of stuff in my steam inventory too that I just let sit there haha.
I goofed on the 90% off prices. 19.99 with 90% off is 2 bucks not 5.
It's really cool you can trade or give away games on Steam. I wish you could do that with downloadable titles on the consoles.
Props to you sir for giving away games to the community....I really need to start using my Steam account.
Though I would not mind free PC games myself, if only to justify my use of having a Steam account, I'm not one for half life. Thanks for sharing though. Real nice of thee.
