Firstly, I am Master Chief. By that I mean we are the same age. I heard on IGN's Podcast Unlocked someone casually say that MC was 48. My eyes widened because I just turned that age a week ago. I didn't just go on the podcaster's comment though, I fact checked it on the Halo Wikia page and sure enough, in Halo 5, he is indeed 48. I just hope he isn't killed off in Halo 5. I'd feel a little weird about that. In any case, now I know what I'm going to be for Halloween.

I got the Olimar Amiibo. I also got to hold the new Yoshi's Wooly World Amiibo and boy it is adorable! It's actually made of yarn, or something close to it. I didn't expect that. It comes in Pink, Blue and Green. Green only comes with the game however. I almost bought one. They are a few dollars more than the regular Amiibo but it's probably worth it. I also saw the Chibi Robo Amiibo. You can only get that if you buy the game though. I was again tempted. But, I stuck with Olimar and his Pikmin because I love, love, love PIkmin. Which reminds me, I need a Wii-U for Pikmin 3. Boy I'm behind the times.

I looked on the Pikmin Wiki and can't find any reference to Captain Olimar's age. He does seem middle-aged though with his nearly bald head and his captaincy being his second job (He was a repair man first).

He's got three pikmin with him: red, blue and the yellow one, I just noticed, is behind him.
I saw him in the store today and I also saw the 8 bit Mario. Very tempted but I really have no reason to buy them.
They tried to get me to buy others, but I just wanted Olimar. It's just fun to look at.

A good spooky horror take-off on Halo would be Master Chief's Mjolinar armor inhabited by nothing but a dead body and Cortana's rampant AI keeping it moving around. Oo, I'm scaring myself now.
I don't even have any actual use for the Olimar amiibo yet, but it's a nice statue next to my pc right now.

I've heard Nintendo is making more of them this time. At least that's what I heard but the Gamestopers were trying to convince me I should get one before they are gone. I just wanted Olimar.
I saw those Yoshi Amiibos and thought about buying them just to have, but I can't pick up another thing to collect.
I was talking to the Gamestoper about how the Skylanders figures have taken a lot more store space over time and he asked me if I was getting into them. I said, "oh heck no!" What I meant by that was that I really want to but I can't get carried away with it. It's so easy with so many figures for that franchise, and I love the art style of them too. I could serious get crazy with that. I am going to get Skylanders at some point, but I'm going to be real careful with how many figures I get. I'm going to be very picky about them. I'm that way about amiibos right now. I only got the one I've been thinking about for months.
