Resident Evil. Duck Tales. Final Fantasy. What do these games have in common? Well, on the surface, they don't appear to have anything in common, but you're wrong! They have all been remade or remastered many years after their initial release. This year's BaD series is:

Gaming's Greatest Remakes!

Now here I must clarify. These are not ports (the same game simply moved to another system). These are also not reboots (a complete start-over for a particular series). These are remakes. A remake (or remaster) is a complete overhaul of an existing game. It's the same game with better graphics, sound, and sometimes gameplay. Remakes also usually add new things to the game. There have been a ton of VG remakes over the years, so I've selected 20 which I think are some of the best (there's also been some lousy remakes).

For each day, in addition to a short write-up about the remake, I'll also post two videos--one of the original and one of the remake so you can compare the two if you want. Looking forward to it, guys! Hope you are too. See you right here tomorrow!
