I played a bit of it. Only the first episode so far, and I'm not sure how many are in the demo. But goddamn is this game fun. I forgot how good this shit was. I didn't like the sequel to the original (for PSP) cause it had the wrong tone. This one is great so far though. It's so nice to finally get a proper sequel to this. I'll play more soon.
In other news, I saw Christopher Robin, the Winnie the Pooh movie, with my mom yesterday. My mom loved it and I found it nice and sweet. I don't know if I would describe it as a kid's movie, more like an adult fantasy. All the animals, especially Pooh, are done great. Tigger and Eeyore are especially funny. Overall it was a nice movie.
We also saw the trailer for Dumbo. My mom is hyped for that, but I'm not the biggest Tim Burton fan. I like his old movies, but his new ones don't usually do it for me. We'll see.
Saw some other trailers for some pretty lame kids movies.
September is approaching and I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest. It comes out around the same time as Spiderman, so I might hold off on Spidey at first. I thought about getting the new Madden, but then decided not too. I might change my mind eventually. I think I bought a new one when I first got my PS4. Who knows what I'll do.
Downloaded, haven't played yet because my mother is staying with us so Christien is sleeping in the main gaming room and when he is not sleeping he is playing Zelda.
dude likes Zelda!
Yup. Downloaded it already!
cool!
I saw the preorder on Xbox Live the other day for VC4. I so want to have it. You lucky Switch owners get a demo. I'm jealous.
Dragon Quest for sure. I won't have money for it though. The only day-one I'll get in the Fall is what comes to Game Pass on Xbox, which is Forza Horizon 4. Maybe the library will get Dragon Quest and I can rent it.
Spider-Man is high on my want list.
It is on mine too, but I've been waiting for a proper sequel to DQVIII for a LONG time. Very excited.
I'd like to see that Christopher Robin movie but I'll probably just wait until it's on Netflix. The Winnie the Pooh worlds were always my favorites in the Kingdom Hearts games. :)
the animals were VERY well done, Cary. I think you will like it a lot if you're a Pooh fan.
I'll still wait until Netflix as I don't know anyone who would want to see that movie with me. Plus, movies are getting more expensive so I have to be selective of which ones to go to.
I want to go see Christopher Robin. I joked to my friend that I don't want to be the only adult without a kid in the theater. I'll go see it eventually.
