I remember that phrase from an episode of The Wire I watched recently. Something about where money was being kept? I don't know. I just finished episode 3 of season 5. I figure two a day this week and I'm done with the series.
There are also 13 episodes in a couple of the Wire's seasons (1 & 4; 2 & 3 have 12 and 5 has 10 for some reason).
Michelle Obama just turned 14 in this month's Non-fiction book club book (the fiction one I plan to read is called All Our Wrong Tomorrows ... or maybe Todays? I don't know).
I'm still waiting on my review of GRIS to be posted. I'm proud of it, so I'm waiting impatiently. lol
Ummm ... Dairy Queen. Weird how I grew up hearing all their extremely Texas-specific ads to later learn they were never so much as headquartered in the state as far as I know. Yet, Whataburger actually doesn't bring Texas up that much in their ads. So weird.
Dangerous butt steam?
Are you saying that about Dairy Queen or Whataburger?
I’m saying it because it rhymes.
I know. But I wanted to fight ...
That DQ ad beats the cringe award out of the 2 ads haha.
I love the implied sexism about drinking pumpkin spice shit at the end.
My review of GRIS will go up at GamerDad.com this Thursday evening.
I remember Dairy Queen and Whataburger having tons of Texas specific ads. Also truck commercials. Seems like every month is Truck Month in Texas.
Hey the other day you posted a blog with some of your brief fitness updates. i thought I'd do that here, too. I hope I won't sound like I'm bragging too much or anything, but last month I joined a new gym and I did my monthly weigh in today and I've already gained 3 pounds of muscle! Yay!
Nice!
My few experiences with not ice cream at Dairy Queen have never been bad but it is just not a place I think of for not ice cream.
Funnily enough, I mostly get hot food when I go. At most, maybe a mini blizzard for ice cream.
You know what I like? Art on a bun. That is all.
I'll have to check for a W next time I go.
You know I never actually had the food at a DQ. We had one in a neighboring town in a sketchy neighborhood that I rarely went to unless with friends and then I would always order whatever their big ice cream product is. The one where they flip it over. You can tell I still rarely visit.
Blizzard. Funny I seem to be the only one that gets their food and not ice cream.
