I did some afternoon gaming today. Chores in the morning, gaming in the afternoon, that’s my routine right now.
Sea of Thieves
I tried adventure mode. I think someone appeared in my game and then left, but I never saw them. I got myself a quest but then couldn’t remember how to look at my map. I couldn’t find any map in my inventory even though I got a quest that was supposed to come with a map. I got annoyed I couldn’t find the thing, and I wasn’t about to wander around hoping something would help. Why on earth would they give you a quest with a map and then not let you look at it? I said to myself, this game isn’t for me anyway, and left.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
Played while I was waiting for a download. This is a really great kart racer. I played several chapters of the world tour mode and unlocked Danica Patrick. I raced as Wreck It Ralph until I got Danica, then I raced as her. I’ll be keeping this game on my hard drive for further use.
EDF 2025
I downloaded it again so Mark and I could race each other. We’re each playing on easy with our beefed up Rangers to see who beats the game first. When we stopped, Mark was ahead by one level. He was at level 43 and I 42 after 3 hours, 45 minutes. It was a lot of fun because I started out behind by self blasting myself with the Goliath Z rocket launcher. Then I caught up by using a 20 rocket missile launcher and winning the race through the tunnels to the queen’s lair on whatever level that was. But then Mark caught up and got ahead because he knows the levels just a little bit better than me because he’s logged a few more hours in the game. I’m still right on his heels though, so maybe in the second half of the game, I can catch up again.
Such a day, a pandemic day. I’m trying to do as little food shopping as possible. I think it’ll be good training for me when this is over. I usually go to the market almost every day. It’s not very efficient both in time and money, and now health.
When I was a kid, me and my friend would race each other in Super Mario Land on separate game boys. I must have beaten that game a hundred times.
Mark and i have done that with a bunch of different games. This time it was in place of playing EDF co-op, because last time we tried, it wouldn't connect us.
In regards to Sea of Thieves: One radial menu has your tools/food/music instruments, and the other has your quests/riddles/treasure maps. It's a bit of a tough game for beginners if you don't have someone guiding you a bit haha.
I brought up two radial menus and didn't see a map. Then I tried to look in settings and it wouldn't let me scroll down the list of descriptions on the right side of the screen. It baffled me.
huh... Did you buy the quest? You have to set it on the captain's table, and vote to accept the journey. It will give you the map/riddle then.
I walked up to a vendor, I believe, and bought the quest off him. It was listed on one of menu screens but I couldn't find the map. Maybe I had to activate it in some way. Ah, one day I'll go back to it and figure it all out. Thanks for the help.

Oh right. I played this about a year ago when it first started, and I did that. I should've remembered.
Yeah that Sonic Racing Transformed is one of the better kart racers out there. In some ways it can outperform Mario Kart. My favorite racers are also my favorite SEGA characters: Ulala and Tails.
I'll be going back to it from time to time. I'd like to unlock everything, if possible.My friend Mark has already played it a lot but didn't unlock all of it. Some of it is hard, he says.
Sonic Racing Transformed I have on Steam, might go play that more.
I love the different locations taken from other games.
