Hello all! I actually had a plan for this blog but decided to do like I always do and just wing it. Which means another disjointed spastic blog that I will badly edit and shamelesly post anyway cause I'm lazy.
This news is a little old but it's too good to pass up, so please bear with me if you already heard about it. Square Enix has been surprised by the success of Bravely Default both in Japan and abroad and apparently is rethinking its mass appeal development strategy, which means we might be getting more JRPGs from them that are focused on being great JRPGs. What a novel concept! Check out this USgamer article for more details about an interview with Square Enix's president. This sounds good and I hope they carry through with it.
Good morning Pixlbit! It is another start to the week and once again the countdown for Friday starts up. I was actually waiting for Sunday night because it was premier of GAME OF THRONES! I spent good chunks of the weekend watching the GOT Marathons on HBO and HBO2, and apparently my HBO is on East Coast time because I got to watch the premier at 6pm Pacific. I won’t talk about the episode until this Friday’s Quick Hits Blog, but I was ready for the show by changing up my Nexus 7’s Wallpaper
It's 10:14 p.m. here on Belgium and it's already dark so before I forget, tomorrow i'm embarking on a trip to Italy for 10 days and though I will bring my Iphone and Kindle tablet, I don't know how active I will be during that time or if I will even comment anyway, so i'll leave this blog telling about my hiatus.
I decided to put my controller down for a few minutes and go outside. I went today because it will soon be too hot to venture out of doors.
So, as per a comment I made (belatedly I might add) in the forums yesterday about sending my copy of The Last Of Us to trade credit hell, im proud to report I got rid of it and my copy of FF XIII. I was a bit on the fence about trading in FF, as my ten hours with it werent unenjoyable. ....but when I think of the amount of hours id need to put in versus what im actually willing to put in...well it just wasn't ever going to get beat.
So, I should probably be writing this about on Plus10Damage, but since they don't allow swearing (well they do, but only under circumstances, because we want to keep some semblance of professionalism) fuck it. I need to vent on how fucking shitty what happened at this game jam was.
Today I will be able to see LL Cool J, Tim McGraw, and The Killers for free at Reunion Park in Dallas, while the Final Four games are going on at AT&T Stadium in Arlington ... err, "North Texas." Whatever. That confused me because my brother's college is University of North Texas, which is in Denton ... not that close to Arlington. I mean, it is under an hour, I guess, but ...
So Its been oe hell of a roller coaster ride these last few weeks, with things coming and going like crazy. So an update is in order to help understand the madness that is me and my life. Im not to be blamed for any corruption or mental madness you may or may not get for coming around me.
