Games of the Decade: Expansion Pass #27/Blog a Day #4
There will be four comics Wednesdays this month. Sometimes I get something video game related, but even if I don't, comics go in my toy box with games and miniatures; they all seem to go together. So this is what I got today.
I've been playing a bit of Forza Horizon 4, and this song got stuck in my head. It's a shame it isn't available in physical form so for right now the version I bought on iTunes will have to do

I always mean to play the Assassin's Creed games but I never seem to get to them. Luckily my theme for the month, The Renaissance (16th century), fits with the setting of this game, and I already had it probably as a free download from my Games with Gold membership.
Hello, it's been a while since I have posted anything, but I have been thinking about it lately. I am working on a new blog and putting some ideas together. For now here is my PlayStation 2020 Wrap-Up where you can see how the last year went for me. There are some interesting stats here:
What IS an RPG? Well, it could mean many things these days - pen and paper Dungeons & Dragons, or Live Action Role Playing, or Pokemon training - its definition is broad. But its name tells you the secret - role playing is about taking on a role in a fictional setting. Some forms of RPGs, like D&D, involve more collaborative storytelling between players and gamemasters. Others only have lite-RPG elements, like some FPS and 3rd Person Action Games. The First Sakura Wars game to be localized in English in 2010 for the Wii, Sakura Wars: So Long My Love combines tactical turn-based combat, dating sim, and visual novel gameplay elements. You play as male character Shinjiro Taiga who is given the assignment to head a demon battling female warriors/performers called Combat Review in New York City.
January has been a rough month, it’s like 2020 said “I’m not done yet” and continued. I’m hoping February is completely different and I can get back to just normal. Nothing fancy, just normal. Wake up, brush/floss, wait the 30 minutes, eat breakfast, do work. That’s it. This past week I did get away in terms of just focusing on gaming or music for a moment here or there and just escape.
Another year, another BaD. But times DO change. This year, before I start my blogs, I wanted to dedicate this iteration of our yearly blogging holiday to our noted member Cary and his mom, who has recently undergone treatment for cancer. We're all hoping Cary's mom has a swift recovery and that his family is blessed in this new year.

Valentine’s Day is coming up in a couple of weeks, so before the Blog A Day deluge comes, I wanted to give you all some Valentine presents: game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com! Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe even post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. And speaking of BaD, I probably won’t be participating in it again this year because I have enough to keep track of over at GamerDad.com, plus I want to focus more on taking care of my mom since she’s recovering from breast cancer surgery. But I’ll still read all of your blogs, of course! OK, let’s begin!
