The latest Elite content pack for March includes drops four, five, and six. Unlike the singular release from February, March's content is more abundant, including a new multiplayer map titled Black Box and two new Spec Ops missions, Black Ice and Negotiator.

Gender in Gaming has been the controversial hot button topic as of late, garnering attention from big name media outlets like Forbes and Maxim. However, despite the ample attention directed toward this issue, few discussions manage to address the real problems at hand. Instead we often opt for reactionary attacks that continue to drive a wedge between our community, silencing intelligent discussion.

This week on PB & Jason: Lies, deceit, evil twins, a wedding, and a funeral! No, no, not really. Instead, there's talk about Kid Icarus: Uprising! Nintendo's favorite angel takes on the armies of the underworld and also multiplayer vs. matches. What do I think about Pit's revival? Well, let's just say it inspired me to speculate about what could be done to bring back two other Nintendo franchises that are basically dead in the water at this point: Game & Watch and Balloon Fight. What kind of makeover would they get? You'll have to listen to find out!

Another work week has come and is going and you know what that means. That’s right; it’s time for another fantastic installment of Missing in Action!

Oh hey, didn’t see you there. It must be time for another edition of PixlTalk, Tri-Force style! This week, Patrick takes us on a pop culture journey into fantasy game development. Before that we spend some time talking about what we’re playing, including Kid Icarus: Uprising, Gotham City Impostors, and Silent Hill: Downpour.
Short answer? Yes! Of course, you should click through and download this week's PB & Jason podcast to find out the reasons why. Also featured in this issue is more about Tom Chick and Quartertothree.com's Journey review. Mixed in are some great Kid Icarus Uprising impressions (SPOILER ALERT: Great game), and a quick list of ideal features for a co-op, (semi) turn-based RPG. We all know what the big story of this week, nay this month has been. To be honest, that which shall not be named has been reported on over and over again, and all of us were quite frankly a little sick of it. Thus, we decided to focus our sights on Konami instead. Konami has been a beloved development studio bringing us many classics including the beloved Metal Gear Solid franchise. However, as of late they have not been faring so well. With few new titles and even less worthwhile ones, what will it take to make this development studio top notch again?

This week's PB & Jason sees Jason's weigh in on thatgamecompany's latest title, Journey. Also featured? Discussion about the lowest review for the game currently posted to metacritic, as well as discussion of the comments left behind on said review. Once the topic of Journey is exhausted, PB & Jason moves into epic territory with talk about the latest official announcement that Epic Mickey 2 is in development! The podcast wraps up with a couple of minutes spent on Mass Effect 3's ending (again) and Dragon Quest VIII's changes to the franchise, for better or for worse. I’d bet dollars to donuts that only a miniscule number of our readers had heard of Kickstarter a couple of months ago. And those that had heard of the crowdsourcing fundraising site could not have possibly known that it would become an important part of an evolving video game industry; that it would throw a wrench into the workings of how things have “always been done” and give the community – the fans – a voice that is not only heard, but heeded as well.

The Shepard Trilogy of Mass Effect has finally come to an end, which has evoked some strong feelings from fans. There's outrage over the ending and not just the ending, but its impact on the series as a whole. I have no feelings on the topic as I have not even played a single title in the series, and truthfully, I have very little ambition to ever do so. Sure, I gave Mass Effect a shot and I actually own both the first and second title, but as someone who's not much a fan of sci-fi, the story and characters hold little intrigue for me. But this is not about me; this is about you, the fans of the series.

Welcome to the next edition of PixlTalk! This week, Patrick takes the reins of the Tri-Force show to talk about the modern day shooter. But before we delve into that heady subject, we talk about recent games we've been playing. New and hot releases like Alan Wake's American Nightmare, SSX, and Mass Effect 3 come up, along with random stuff like Batman: Arkham City, Bulletstorm, and Snoopy's Street Fair. Yeah, the Tri-Force crew is down with the Peanuts, big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Remember last week when I said I didn't care about Mass Effect 3? I was wrong. Controversy has arisen over the game's endings, and said controversy is enough to make me care about the game, at least to a meager extent. If you're inclined to not know anything about the story and/or endings for Mass Effect 3, skip over a few minutes of the podcast, but be sure to listen to the rest! Why? Because there's Dillon's Rolling Western opinions, tons of Kid Icarus: Uprising information, a Club Nintendo update, more controversy with Tekken X Street Fighter and Sonic 4 Episode 2, and more! When talking about Blizzard Entertainment, it’s almost impossible to imagine the company before the creation of their core pillars of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo. It’s even more difficult to think of the company making games for home consoles, but in the early 90s both of these unimaginable things were true. Under the original company name of Silicon & Synapse, the house that would be Blizzard produced The Lost Vikings—a beloved side-scrolling puzzle game that fell by the wayside for juggernauts like Warcraft. We have some love for those quirky Vikings around here, so it was high time for them to get their very own MIA.

Once again we heroes from our lofty position up here in the clouds cast judgment upon you lowly mortals. This week we discuss why the video game community often makes us ashamed to be gamers. Between the recent Cross Assault scandal and the review bombing on Meta Critic there’s not a whole lot to be too proud of at the moment. Not all is lost, however; while we are quite critical of the gaming community this week we also make sure to highlight some of the good aspects out there. Still the question remains, will us gamers ever grow up? It may just be time for a revolution.

I haven't been interested in this week's latest gaming news, nor have I picked up any new titles between this week and last week. So what do I do? Spend the week to talk about Dragon Quest titles and RPGs in general! This week's PB & Jason is filled to the brim about details of what I enjoy in RPGs, my experience with Dragon Quest games, and hypes up a title I'm sure to play over the upcoming week: Dragon Quest VIII, which I just received today. There's a lengthy discussion about a two year-old article about older RPGs and the differences between these games and newer ones, with some criticism for the new peppered along the way in this week's best ever PB & Jason issue. The PlayStation Vita is a fine gaming machine – one that I have enjoyed playing for the past couple of weeks since its release. It's sturdily constructed, has a beautiful OLED display, some great launch games, and a very nifty user interface that's both attractive and easy to use. Despite all it has going for it, it houses one of the worst design decisions I've ever encountered in a gaming console.

The unique world of Mass Effect, put together by BioWare, is nothing short of remarkable, already being argued by people as being the most influential sci-fi universe of our generation.

Greetings, Earthclan! This week, the Tri-Force crew is joined by Hell Block Hero JD to talk about mass quantities of Mass Effect! But before that, we talk a little about what we've been playing, including Tales of the Abyss 3D, Gotham City Impostors, Metroid Fusion, and Asura's Wrath.

How many sevens does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Seven! Don't worry. That's the only seven-related joke in PB & Jason 77. In fact, seven isn't really a factor in this week's PB & Jason at all! Instead, you get forty-eight minutes of piping hot ideas about the current future of Pokémon, the 3DS vs. PlayStation Vita sales debate, and quick impressions of one of the newest 3DS eShop games, Dillon's Rolling Western. Well it’s that time of the month again and the new Modern Warfare 3 Elite DLC is here for February. This month Activision has released one new map – Overwatch. If you haven't already had the chance, be sure to check out my impressions of January's releases.

Mike, JD, Stanton and Julian decided to take on the galaxy together in Mass Effect 3's multiplayer demo. Check out the below two-part video to get their impressions and perhaps have a few laughs.

Our fearless leader Nick joins the heroes this week as we take a look at Jesse’s article, which argues that games are not art. In the process we attempt to define art, discuss whether or not games are art, or have the potential to become art. Ultimately our discussion leads us to possibly a more pressing matter: Why is it so imperative for gamers/game enthusiasts that video games are considered an art form?

The debate of whether or not games are art has been a long and tedious one. I do not think that Roger Ebert had any idea what kind of bee hive he was kicking when he famously declared that not only are games not art, but they likely never would be. He would later go on to amend his comments to say that he believed that games could eventually become art, but that he hadn’t seen any real evidence to say that time was soon coming. It was a kind of back handed apology to furious gamers for taking such an absolute stance on a subject he admittedly knew little about. Gamers more or less ignored this amendment and demonized Mr. Ebert; holding steadfast to the idea that not only could games become art, but that they indeed already were.

Miss out on the Nintendo Direct show this morning? PB & Jason is here to deliver details on the important news of the day! Also in this issue: Talk about The Simpsons Arcade Game, Iron Brigade: Rise of the Martian Bear, and Rhythm Heaven Fever. Oh, and a little bit of Playstation Vita stuff, too. The Elders Scrolls series has always been known for their lively modding community, and Skyrim is no different. Now a few weeks after the release of the creation kit we’re starting to see some amazing mods that add new challenges, content, and a few laughs.
