The recent Trenched PlayBit was a success, but it also worked in some play time of Microsoft Game Studios', South Park: Let's Go Tower Defense Play. Be sure to check out the replay below to see some footage from both games, as well as both Jason and Nick's thoughts on the games.

...Or can I?

If there was one video game company during the NES era that seemed to almost one-up Nintendo in terms of quality games, it was Capcom. Whether it was releasing games starring the blue bomber himself or making great licensed Disney games, they could do no wrong. They continued this with the SNES, the Playstation 1, the Gamecube, the DS – and people loved them.
Quick! Someone pick which knight or character I should play as! We only have the Gray Knight unlocked, and Chris has already taken the Blue one as his. I've also played some as the Green and Red Knights, so choose from any of them, and I'll be glad to take the character.

This week's PB & Jason brings news discussion on three major topics! Nintendo RPGs, the Xbox 360, and Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.

The three podcasters sat down to discuss riots in Canada over hockey games, but somehow got the topic got shifted to video games with crowd control. Join Matt, Joaquim and Jason as they talk about riots and crowds in gaming, then segue into gang fighting, with the foot clan in TMNT.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D. You might’ve heard of it. Releasing today, the arcade style shooter won’t allow players to erase their save data in any capacity. You heard that right – if you purchase this game and want to start over at any point, you won’t be able to. “Well,” you say to yourself, “I probably won’t ever start over anyway, so no big deal.” Until, of course, you go to trade-in the game after you’re sick of it and you’re being offered pennies on the dollar because nobody wants your game used. I’m guessing that’s when some frustration is due to set in.

Who will I play as? Sonic alone? Knuckles? Sonic and Tails? Tails? You tell me! First person in the chat gets to decide.

Join host and resident super hero, Jason Ross, as he talks about the PlayStation Vita, 3DS, Wii U, and other things in this exciting issue of PB & JASON!

I'm back again this week, to bring you another Monday Night PlayBit! Join the Chatango chat and give things a whirl. I'll be completing Super Metroid today, if all things go well. Right now, I'm reading things are streaming perfectly, so we'll see what happens. It starts now! Or at 8:00 PM EST. Don't worry if you miss something! I can update watchers on my progress any time they drop in!

If you're like me, yesterday produced some frustration and definite cause for concern. Assuming you followed along with our E3 coverage, you're well aware that Nintendo is giving away a special limited edition soundtrack with their recently released title, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D. The bad news about this sweet giveaway? It's extremely limited and only a few Club Nintendo members who register their game will actually be able to get it. After registering yesterday, completing the required survey, and requesting the bonus, Chessa and I were stopped dead in our tracks by a system error.

E3 happens just once a year, and our hero, Jason Ross, was on the scene!

Monday Night PlayBit, a new PlayBit feature I plan to do weekly on PixlBit, is having it's pilot debut! Join me as I play some (or all) of Super Metroid tonight! The show begins soon (Or has begun if it's after 8:00 PM EST and you see this!)

PixlBit has received a review copy of the perennially delayed Duke Nukem Forever! It's rated M for Mature, so please only watch if you are over the age of 17. Duke Nukem Forever has Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, and Use of Drugs and Alcohol content descriptors from the ESRB. We at PixlBit can also be prone to vulgarity, so consider yourself forewarned. For those curious, our copy of the game is for the Xbox 360.

Last night, Nintendo held their second roundtable developer's meeting and Jason has the opportunity to sit in and catch the news as it broke. Nintendo hosted Ubisoft at the meeting and Ubisoft gave an in depth look at what they currently have in development for Wii U and a good number of details about the Wii U capabilities and how they will be leveraged to provide a compelling gameplay and online experience. Listen to Jason's thoughts with the embedded player below!

While not everyone at E3 was able to sit down for discussion about the show thus far, Nick, Chessa, and Jason R took about an hour to go through everything announced at E3 2011 so far. The team discusses their thoughts about each of the big three's presence at the show, while Jason gives his view from the show floor.

E3 is a busy time, and 2011's conference is no exception. With new information constantly being released, it can be easy to miss big announcements or overlook certain articles. Because of this, PixlBit has compiled all of our E3 articles into separate sections (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, Wii U, and Vita) for easy viewing, so that none of you miss out on any of our coverage.

E3, the future of gaming. A mecca for all those involved in the industry. This is my second year attending the show, and it’s the second year this same scenario occurred. There’s a problem, particularly an issue with select attendees, and it needs to be discussed.

As is tradition at this point, Nintendo likes to entertain their press conference attendees with trivia prior to the show. Check out the trivia pics below and see if you can answer all of them.

E3 2011 appears to have crept up on us once again. Just as we did last year, the staff has come together to provide predictions for the coming show. This year, unlike last year, most of the show is a huge question mark.

As has become tradition, part of the PixlBit crew has gotten together for a PlayBit before E3! This year we've decided to do things a bit differently. Rather than broadcast live, we decided to record our play session and post it so that anyone can see it, regardless of their schedule.
