I just saw this news update today. Sony is releasing a $100 console that lets you play PS VITA games on a TV via HDMI cable. Interesting. PS Vita TV launches in Japan on November 14.
I'm not going to pile onto the game with more hate. The fact is that the game is good and through word of mouth, and advertising the game is surprisingly popular and SE wasn't prepared for that. That's the official PR position. SE stated that they will add more servers next week for NA/EU and some of the NA players have been logging in early and then just not logging out, not giving anyone else a chance to play. I doubt this is the "main" reason players can't login, but it's quite annoying. Anyway. I started playing on a JPN server world as suggested by a Pixlbit user. So far I've been able to play fine. I don't know how long I'll be able to play without being locked out, but so far so good. If you want to know where I'm at
I was playing a lot of Diablo III over the weekend, and over the past few weeks mostly because I really enjoy the game and I was surprised to see a new video for the newest expansion Reaper of Souls. The CGI trailer is simpy amazing and takes an even darker tone then the latest game. The game is also releasing for PS3 and XBOX360 console next week too so there will be more players added now. I've got all the character classes setup minus one, but I will eventually get to it.
I was also playing a bit of Torchlight II. I never actually finished this game. I seem to have trouble wanting to stay in the game. I know a lot of people preferred Torchlight to Diablo 3 due to cost and lack of always-connected feature, and random generated areas, but I still much prefer the fast paced actiony style of Diablo 3. I've already finished the game a couple of times and leveled up a few classes, and there is something about the game that still keeps me wanting to play it until my hand cramps up. Hours go by after starting a game, then suddenly it's bed time. I think it's one of my scary games, can't keep away type of games that MMOs cause people to feel
Path of Exile is quite popular Diablo style game, but after playing it over the weekend as well, I didn't quite get into it like I did Diablo 3. It has a robust customization and item system that I find difficult to comprehend. It looks awesomly complex, the reason people like the game I suppose, but I find the progression to be way too slow. I like the game, but don't love it. Maybe I will learn to love it after playing some more and researching it some more, but for now I just want to play more Diablo 3 and I want the expansion today.
I was wondering if anyone on Pixlbit is into any Anime? I used to be into Anime in the 90s, mostly what was played on Toonami weekend nights, very late at night early morning. I'm talking about Cowboy Beebop, BigO, Ghost in the Shell, Gundam Wing, Evangelion. These shows I listed are pretty much my fav Anime shows but I haven't really had interest in Anime until maybe Full Metal Alchemist, New Ghost in the Shell and maybe Death Note. I watched the latest Evangelion films that were recently remade and they are still awesome. There is also more new Sailor Moon in development. I read a lot of buzz around Attack on Titan and checked it out and completely love it like my favorite old Animes. I would say it is one of my favorite new shows this year really. I'm glad I love Anime again. Brings back nostalgic feelings.
The show is about a walled city that gets attacked by giant humans, or Titans. Soldiers using special harnesses can grapple and fly around the city like Spider-Man while attacking with blades. The coolest part is when they're flying around, but I love the characters and story. It's very original and interesting, but it is very tragic and gory. Super cool show!
