A Bug's Life

Oops. I forgot to mention in my introduction that I'll be playing the games in alphabetical order. It seems like the easiest way to organize everything, and keep track of what I've played.

Jason, in my storage drawers, games which start with "the" are filed with the T's, ha ha. I guess we'll see what happens, but I'm not sure if I'll get to games like The Legend of Zelda and The New Tetris before the T's come up.

In hindsight, I actually wonder if perhaps I were a bit harsh on this game. It is technically sound, with solid physicals, detailed graphics, and other features. Personally, I simply found the game to be downright boring, as well as the controls frustrating, so I couldn't bring myself to give it a higher score. Still, I can see the appeal in it, for those looking for a realistic game where the challenge comes from things like complex control. That isn't my type of game, though.

I still don't understand why every game released today doesn't have fully customizable controls. Is it really that difficult of a feature to implement?

Marble Saga Kororinpa Review

I bought this game after this past Christmas, and it's an incredible value. There's over 300 unique stages across all modes, plus you can even create your own using all of the pieces and tools that the regular levels have. You can even edit the regular stages.

The only flaw I find with the game is with the physics engine, it seems a bit too finicky for precise movements. This becomes frustratingly apparent in the hard mode, where you often need precision to succeed. The bouncing in particular often seems random, so there are stages where you have to get lucky in order to complete them.
