No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise Review

“OK” just doesn't cut it this time.

No More Heroes looked like an intriguing game when it came out on the Wii, but after playing it I wasn't too impressed. You play as the badass Travis Touchdown and your simple goal is to kill everyone in your way until you are number one. The gameplay was interesting and the story and characters were entertaining, but these just sugarcoated a fundamentally flawed game. Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Edition Review

So many jokes you could make with that title.

Is the first traditional Wii RPG something special?

The latest from imageepoch and Marvelous Entertainment treads some new ground for the Wii. Arc Rise Fantasia is one of the first, if not the first, traditional JRPG created for the Wii. On face value, this is great for Wii owners starving for a current generation RPG, but after some examination, many Wii owners may want to think twice about purchasing this by-the-numbers JRPG.

No More Heroes Review Rewind

Inspired by the release of the second game, Nick revisits No More Heroes for PixlBit's second Review Rewind.

I definitely missed the boat with No More Heroes. Sure, I bought it near release, but the best I ever did was wipe out the first boss and get into a few side jobs. Other things seemed to come up and the game got shelved indefinitely. As we all know, the second title in the series has just been released, which incidentally acted as a pretty good motivator to go back and finish what many called one of the Wii's greatest games.
