About Me:

My name is Wayde Smart. I am an X-Ray tech from Sand Springs,Ok.,which is a small town just outside of Tulsa. I've been an avid gamer since the days of Pong,Space Invaders,Asteroids,and Missile Command. Translation:I'm very old! Yes,I know....believe me. But as they say,you're only as old as you feel. Or decide to act. I see gaming as a pure form of entertainment,but even better. I like games that make you think and get you emotionally involved in the story. I think it helps keep your mind sharp,just like reading. I am the exact opposite of a fanboy,too. I want to experience everything the gaming world has to offer. I don't feel the need to limit myself to one system. Some might call that obsessive....I say I'm well rounded. And open minded as well. That is why I am here. To interact with other gamers and share ideas and opinions. Lotta smart people on this site,and some great writers. There is always something new to learn from others. I look forward to doing just that each day right here.

Favorite Games:

I enjoy a wide variety of games. Pretty much everything but sports titles and RTS games like the Command & Conquer series. I like shooters and adventure games. I love great RPG's with deep storylines. I am a huge fan of games like Tomb Raider,Uncharted,Far Cry,Dead Space,and GTA. The larger the game world,the better for me. Anything SquareEnix does,I'm usually into it. Assassin's Creed is another great series I love. I like Halo and Call of Duty equally. It can be done! I am horrible at driving games,but I even like them. At least when I crash my insurance premium does not increase!

Favorite Music:

My music tastes are all over the place. I like classic rock and heavy metal. I like blues and funk. I'm very into Celtic music of all sorts and folk music. I like some country and bluegrass as well. Kind of hard to live in Oklahoma and not dig some of it. I enjoy 80's pop of all types. Mostly guitar/synthesizer driven songs. Lately I've been getting into modern electronic music as well. But not Dub Step,more like M83 and Ladytron. So a list of my favorite groups would be sort of like this....Metallica,AC/DC,Judas Priest,Saxon,UFO,Iron Maiden,Motörhead,Nightwish,Leave's Eyes,Epica,Slayer,Anthrax,Rush,Genesis,Fleetwood Mac,Styx,Journey,Cheap Trick,Tool,Flogging Molly,Clannad,Enya,Celtic Woman,Talitha MacKenzie,Anuna,Ratt,Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard,Grace Potter & The Nocturnals,Deep Purple,Rainbow,Scorpions,Riot,Icon,Queensryche,Loudness,The Sword,Dio,Led Zeppelin,The Rolling Stones,Aerosmith,and of course......Black Sabbath. The band that invented heavy metal. They are my Beatles.
