They say it fixes some of the bugs. Hope it fixes the one where Rex runs away from battle and I have to haul him back in again. It's happened to me multiple times. One time he ran right off a cliff and died.

It also adds an easy mode to Tiger Tiger. The game you have to play to get parts for Poppi. I cannot play that thing worth shit so that's good.

Coming out on the 22nd.

yeah I heard the game is a bit rough. You liking it though?

Oh I love it despite the bumps. I'm at the end of Chapter 3 right now. I might hold off on playing more until the patch next Friday.

I haven't even tried it handheld though. It's supposedly horrible, frame rate tanks and graphics drop to sub SD levels.

Good thing they are trying to fix it.

You suck at Tiger Tiger? Not surprised... I'm just messing with ya haha. I'm glad they're going to patch it, and I think more patches will be made. Personally I haven't experienced any glitch, and the only technical gripe I have with the game are the performance/visual (even in Docked mode) issues.

LOL, Other than the Rex running away from the battle while Tora is getting the shit kicked out of him I haven't found much that would ruin my enjoyment of the game. I find it a lot like the first game and that's what I wanted.

Ah I only put 10 hours into the first game (got distracted with other games at the time it came out), but I did finish X, and like you I was hoping that it would be similar in many ways aside from the alterations they added to the combat mechanics. Comparatively I was more excited about using mechs in combat for X rather than collecting blades in 2. However I still think that there's something off with 2; I don't know if it's the pacing, or that my squad is either having it easy with similar level enemies (I think it was tougher in X in the same situation) while being trounced by much higher level beasts. Also I think that the Inn mechanic (bonus leveling up) helps a lot in making the game feel much easier to play.

The first one took about 15 hours before it got it's hooks in me and I wound up spending over 120 hours altogether.

It was hilarious to start the New game + because you start at the same level you finished the first playthrough with. at level 97 there isn't much in the way of a challenge and most battles end very quickly.
