It's a new game I made up this week. Take two people, give them each a game that has reportedly easy achievements, and see who finishes with 1000 points first. Today challenge was Lost: Via Domus.
Happy Force Friday Pixlpeeps! So last night was the night to stand outside in my little piece of Southern California and wait for Toys R Us to open. I wasn’t about to wait in line of more than an hour and since I live in a small town I knew there wasn’t going to be much of a line.
This past weekend I attended PAX Prime in Seattle and wrote a few articles about it at GamerDad.com. It was a lot of fun, and I’d like to encourage you all to click on the links in this blog and read my articles and post comments if you can. It would be much appreciated. I played a lot of games, attended a lot of meetings, took some cool pictures, and even met a celebrity! It was definitely one of the better PAX conventions I’ve been to, so please do check my articles out!
I managed to get to the Legend level in Paladin and Woodcutter only to be given a sword and an axe that weren't as good as the ones I made in my Blacksmith life. I might try Wizard next but it means running around looking for enough jobs to get 3350 stars. Currently I only have two jobs worth a whopping 600 stars for the pair.
I'm going to put all the media in one blog this time. I'll mention a favorite I experienced at the time and then one I'd like to experience now.
This is an enhanced version of EDF 2025 with new levels, vehicles, giant mechs, and various tweaks and fixes to the gameplay mechanics, all running at 1080 P, 60 FPS for the PS4. Check out a gameplay trailer here: https://youtu.be/sncotQaBeuw . (F'n library computer won't let me put the video directly into the blog).
Damn. My plan was to do 2 blogs a month and it's been months since I wrote 1 blog. I've been pretty busy lately. If I'm not working, I'm busy with other stuff (family, friends, games, movies, sleeping, etc). I tried hitting up the site a few times and didn't get to visit much. I'm having a few pc issues. I'll just have to get a new one next year if I can come up with the money. The reason I've been working so much is that I'm saving up money for my wife's maternity leave from her job. Yes, we are having another baby. Child number 6!
We're hoping for another girl, since we already have 4 boys. But, whatever happens is fine. Anyway, on with the games...
Hello, my name is Blake. Today, I have some information that I would like to convey to you. I wish to do so in a calm and polite manner - contrary to usual, I know.
Well good morning and Happy September 1st Pixlpeeps! I’m excited because the weather should start getting cooler around here and soon it will be “cold” (for you East Coast folks our cold is 70 degrees) I decided to hold off on my Monday Blog because I wanted to recap what went on in August…and add a little more beef than my usual this is what I played.
Hey all. So, I got my PS4 today and I wanted to discuss my early thoughts on it. First of all, I don't like the power button. Second of all, I like the controller -- so far. I also like the silver light on the top of the unit. I don't know why, just looks nice. But that's about it for hardware. Let's talk about software.
First thing today I went to Gamestop and traded in Gat out of Hell and bought a second copy of Sacred 3 for my friend Mark. The saleswoman told me about Until Dawn and how the game figures out what isn't scaring you and then changes to try and scare you more. Games are getting smart. I gotta watch out for that. Then I had a breakfast bagel (egg and cheese on a rye bagel) and coffee on my way over to Mark's place for gaming.
Every once in a while I have a strong desire to sit down and try to write or blog. I just wish that they came around more often. It is rather depressing seeing that the last blog that I posted here was almost six weeks ago, back when I was finishing up Wild Arms.
Today was a game and grub day. Had burgers and dogs and meatballs in mashed potatoes while playing a lot of Borderlands The Presequel, Sacred 3, and Earth Defense Force 2025.
Yep, I'm at the Hero level in all twelve lives in Fantasy Life. Just got there in cook today. I'm going for Legend in Woodcutter because it's the quickest one. I just have to cut down a total of 500 trees to get there. I'm at 360 right now. Boring at hell but fairly simple. I'm sticking to trees I can fell in one hit. I'm not sure how many I'll bother to do this with. Some of them I don't even have enough quests left to make the grade.
HELLO EVERYONE OF PIXLBITVILLE!!! I've missed posting on here so much. I have just been busy with school over the months. Trust me though, there's still been a lot of gaming. I cannot tell you how much stuff I bought over the months. Overall, I've been playing A LOT of Destiny. I decided to make my third character as a Titan. When Destiny first launched, the Titan was going to be my original first choice but I saw all of my friends picking it so I went with Warlock, then Hunter.
