I'm almost at the end of the first one. Finally decided to play it and as with most of what Double Fine has produced I love it. PSN has it for $15 tomorrow which is cheaper than Steam for me ($16.99). I could of course wait until it drops in price or is offered as part of my PSN+ sub. But you know that would be totally out of character for me. :)
Well Happy Monday good people of the 7 Pixlbit Nation (you’re not humming that bass line, and the hardcore folks are playing air drums). I hope your weekend was filled with fun/rest/games/pickups/and any other fun random things you folks like to do. This past weekend I had the ultra rare CD Friday. I didn’t want to have CD Saturday/Sunday because this weekend I wanted to spend the weekend doing nothing but camping out in front of the television. I did have one big goal for Friday, and that was to get my Dreamcast connected to my television and go back to 1999.
Hello Pixlbit! Sorry for not posting in a while. Been getting things ready for school. Sucks to say that I start school tomorrow and my gaming time might be cut in half. WHYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?! But at least I'll be doing something more productive...other than gaming. But I don't think it would be too bad. So I haven't bought anything lately. I've just been trying to finish the games I currently have. Like Shadow Of Mordor and Forza Horizon 2.
Well I'm a level 20 Fragtrap now in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and I've still not finished the story. I get distracted quite a bit doing side missions and figuring out a system of saving and disposing of extra weapons.
With the release of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on the horizon, there is a whole new batch of Mega Evolutions to be found as well. Pokemon who are fully evolved, but in the midst of battle can turn into a new super form of their regular ones. These boosts usually come from better stats, but can also have a tradeoff (such as more bulk, but less speed) or an awesome new ability. So here's my pick of the five best new ones.
I've had an interesting week that has absolutely nothing to do with gaming but you're going to hear about it anyway. So get yourself a cold beverage, sit down and listen.
So on a whim I decided to show off some of my complete sets.
On November 18 2012, I purchased a Wii U primarily to play Bayonetta 2. Today, almost 2 years later, I will finally be able to do just that.
..Welp I have been getting incresingly busy...Kinda got another request to be working on but..No real time to start on it..(As some of that is going into this...)Luckly the dishes are pretty much back in order for this week..Oh, also if things are still set, I'm going to a family brunch this weekend..Attepmt to go to bed earlier tonight...(Oh..It seems they rescheduled..)Anyway..Been practicing still with my tablet..Definitly have gotten more comfortable with it..Pretty much has become like my traditional media stuff..I got plenty of half to more or less almost done stuff laying around the digital space of my laptop...Finished some traditional stuff recently as well..With most of that aside..I got some work-in-progress shots of my digital stuff...
A few years ago I made a blog specifically pointing out Bayonetta and Bulletstorm for issues I had with the stories. Mostly that they had detailed plots, which a lot of people misinterpreted for having cutscenes and stories. I was never happy with it and have always wanted to correct it, and while playing Bayonetta 2, I thought about a parallel to one of the greatest comedies ever, The Big Lebowski.
I had plans for more "ambitious" (for lack of better term) blogs with the theme of Halloween, but sadly because of problems I had during October and procrastination of my part, the plans went south. I still wanted to have a Spooky Month blog, so I decided to put a filler of songs that fit the season. Some are scary, some are not, some are Halloween theme and some not, but they fit together regardless.
Hello Pixlbit and Hello Friday! The week went by fast and that is always a good thing, hopefully the weekend slows down because I do like the time to just sleep. I have a stack of laundry, which means there won’t be a lot of extra sleep but at least I’ll have clean clothes! Ok I have to confess I am starting this blog on Thursday because on Friday (today for you folks in the future) I will be out and about maybe looking at some new shoes, and new music for the library. Let’s get started because when I’m done with this I have to update my album list, and sync it to my Phone so I don’t by an album I already own.
One week to go until The Haunting Hour commences....until then, we get to enjoy another FULL WEEK of spooky gaming goodness.
On Monday, October 20th, my father passed away after succumbing to the effects of cancer. It was a rather short battle. He had only just started showing symptoms in late August and was diagnosed in early September, and now, in the proverbial blink of an eye, he's gone. The last few weeks had been especially agonizing for him, so I'm glad he's no longer suffering. He taught me to place others' needs before my own, along with the value of hard work. I, and all his family and friends, will miss him dearly.
In the spirit of my homie NSonic's Octoberween festival....but I'm not sure which I should play. There are 3 games:
I just got done reviewing a game called Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!! It’s a 2-D fighter featuring a cast of anime-styled female characters. A lot of times when I play a new fighting game, I like to write a blog about the characters in that game. At first I wasn’t going to do that with this one, but once I played it, I discovered that there a quite a few neat characters in it, and I thought it would be fun to write a little blog about them after all. Keep in mind that I may miss secret characters and leave out details here and there. But I’m just writing this as a fun, filler blog so you’re just going to have to deal with my nonsense. So let’s take a look at the characters in this silly fighter.
Blake's Musical Moments stuff blog thing - you know the drill. Well, the two of you who actually read these blogs haha. The focus this time is on the atmosphere. So have some.
