Bleach Online is a free anime browser MMO devBleach Online has been Enters Open Beta Phaseeloped and published by GoGames. The game is based on the popular Bleach franchise and it is set in the same universe. Bleach Online protagonists wake up after a long recovery sleep that lasted 1000 years. With the help of Captain Yamamoto and many other friendly characters, players must recover their lost memories and fight to protect those close to them. Bleach Online starts with a small tutorial that guides players through game’s basic mechanics. Challenging content and complex features are unlocked as characters progress and get higher levels.

The character system allows players to form a team by recruiting companions called partners. These partners are just like regular MMORPG characters. They have stats, skills, abilities and equip gear. Bleach Online gear is divided in 6 categories: headbands, armors, belts, cloaks, shoes and weapons. There are also 6 color coded tiers that determine quality. Players are able to collect materials and craft equipment by visiting the Blacksmith NPC located in Blue Steam Gate. Fortifying is a process that enhances gear attributes. Partners are recruited from the Tavern. Bleach Online players can have a maximum of 10 partners at a time. A combat team supports 5 partners. Dismissed partners are not forever lost, they simply go back to the Tavern. Bleach Online has turn based combat. The attack order is determined by partner’s speed. Each partner fulfills a combat role: vanguard (tank), assaulter (dps) or support. Partners receive stats bonuses based on their role. Spirit stones are an additional way to boost stats. Stamina spirit stone increases HP, block spirit stone enhances block rate and so on. Spirit stones can be bought from the Bleach Online store or awarded for taking part in various game activities.

Daily PvE and PvP activities are available to all Bleach Online players. Evil Spirit is a world boss battle. Ryoka Attack is a PvE event where players have to protect the city against waves of mobs. Like all MMO browser games, Bleach Online has instanced dungeons. Each instance has 2 modes: normal and hard. The second mode is unlocked after completing the dungeon at least once in normal mode. Guild War is a siege warfare PvP event. Protect Seireitei is an event where all guilds from a server clash in a massive PK confrontation. Arena is available for level 20+ players. Bleach Online is free to play and has optional VIP membership, premium players gain some advantages but there’s enough content to keep free players engaged and entertained for a long time.

So, I have been away and unfortunately I missed my oppurtunity to talk about Nintendo's spectacular 125th Anniversary. That's right Nintendo has gone from small trading card and toy company to a worldwide video game juggernaut. This my friends is an amazing feat. Through all the troubled times Nintendo has kept going for a century and a quarter. And I know that as a fan (often called a fanboy) I have to say Nintendo....Don't change a thing.

I'm not sure if any of you follow the wild world of German-based-shoe-companies-that-sell-them-in-China, but if you did, you would surely know the travails of Ultrasonic. It's probably one of the biggest heists in German-based-shoe-companies-that-sell-them-in-China history.

I read the second volume of Sandman last week and let me tell you, it was really good. Whereas the first volume was a series of stories loosely connected by Morpheus's plight, volume 2 told one long story (well, there was one off-topic story, but I really liked that one too). It also tied in with one of the human characters from volume 1 (Unity Kinkaid) and introduced more of the Endless, Desire in particular. That one will make more trouble down the line, mark my words.

My friend Mark just reminded me there is another Con in my area. It's Retro Con (http://retrocons.com/ ) at The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. on Sat and Sun of Sept. 27th. You thought that was in Philly but it's actually just outside Philly not far from one of the biggest malls in the US., The King of Prussia Mall. It's also not far from Historic Valley Forge Park, one of the places rendered in Assassin's Creed III.  The Expo Center is also very close to one of the few Movie Taverns on the east coast. There you can see a movie and get served food and drink, all at the same time. It's fun! Additionaly my friend Mark will be having a yard sale of his old video games and systems at nearby Chesterbrook Village on Sat (PM me if you want details).

Blizzard Canceled Titan *sigh*

So after 7 years of development Blizzard canceled Titan. I can only imagine they felt it wouldnt stack up against WOW and decided to end it. The problem with this is, WOW is dying. If you dont feel the same way I understand and its cool but to me it is. Their losing subscriptions left and right and I have even heard that apparently the new expansion isnt getting high pre orders. They need something new out there and they have just thrown that out. I was actually excited to see Titan. I played WOW on and off for awhile and I did enjoy it, I didnt see what all the big talk about it was thou. Before WOW I played Guild Wars, it was F2P so I didnt have to worry about a subscription every month. After playing that I just didnt understand the big thing about WOW, to me even to this day, there similar. One is free to play on the other you pay for. I mean you can jump on GW2 and do the same you do on WOW, yes there are differences but the end game is the same, you create a character, level them up, and then dungeon and PVP to the end of days. Thats what most players do, majoirty side they have either already delved into the story during their first run or dont care for the story. Its only in newer MMOs that their getting more interesting, Arche Age, which I highly recommend is a sand box MMO that is very open world and lets you do all sorts of things. I like to think of it as the sims with a MMO style in a way. If WOW wants to compete with Landmark, Arche Age, Wildstar, and several of the other new ones its gonna have to take on some radical changes.

Happy Monday Pixlbit! This morning while finally deciding to read through the sports message board for SDSU Sports, just when I thought the yahoos who regularly post there couldn’t get any lower, they found a new floor. The “geniuses” that seem to live there want everyone fired, and all the players cut. Yes grown ass “men” take sports way too seriously because they know more about the game they pretend to love more than the folks who are pulling in a paycheck or scholarship. These are the same folks who a couple of years ago felt that the basketball team needed a new coach (2 Sweet 16s, beating the likes of Arizona, Kansas, and Gonzaga all on their home courts, and having a 30+ win streak within the state of California), and don’t even get me started on what they thought of about Tony Gwynn’s baseball team. Sometimes I do question the thinking of the vocal part of our fanbase.

Went to Jay Street Video Games in Mall. Saw Front Mission 3 for $15, no manual. Buy on PSN instead. Saw Pokemon Stadium for $25 loose. Can get it for $15 online. Would've got it for $20. Not today. Asked for Dynasty Tactics. Salesman said no copies. After hurting him, still no. Left angry.

Since last Friday I’ve only managed to play the demo of Super Smash Bros. for the 3DS two times, the second being a moment before writing this blog. Even though Little Mac isn’t playable in this demo I did have a good time with Mega Man despite his controls feel different from what I played in the last three Smash Bros. games. While I enjoyed myself I did have some issues with the controls in general. I hope the configuration menu will have a few things:
