Nothing much to say except that like the title say, I returned from a trip to Prague, which also included the South Bohemia region, all in the Czech Republic.
What's going on Pixlbit? It's a new week which means new pickups. Not that much this week. Just a few games. First one is Dead or Alive Xtreme 2. I remember the days when my cousins and I played the first one on the original Xbox. I thought it was funny that a fighting game series had a vollyball/beach activities game. It was pretty cool to have the girl characters from the series all in one game. I didn't know they made a second entry into the series.
So it turns out I stayed up until dawn playing Arkham City. This marks the first time in years that I've done that with a game. I guess we'll see if I'm as close to the end as I think I am.
This past week I feel as though I have been just going through the motions. I think that part of it may just be because of jetlag. Whatever it is, I don't really like it. I have had little that I have wanted to say over the past couple of weeks and I don't like it. Here is hoping that I can get back into the swing of things soon.
The reason why I have emphasised mod is because it implies that a modder added textures or tweeks to a game. TheWorse just unlocked hidden files from PC version of Watch Dogs and enabled them for anybody that would like to use them. Granted they have the processing power to get those graphics seen two years ago at E3. With SweetFX, it changes the shading quality of the game and from my experience does make the game look nicer.
So since these few days leading to July 8 are the last where I won't be in a class or classes until 2015, I've been doing lots of eating out (too expensive, really need to be a responsible person and get my ass to Kroger so not every meal I eat is $5 or more), watching Netflix (watched both seasons of Orange is the New Black in a two-day span, also watching Breaking Bad where I'm in the first part of season 2, no spoilers please, watched Rocky last night and plan to watch the other four as well, kinda watched Tomb Raider), and ... *drum roll* playing games!
What day is it Pixlbit?
It’s 1979. Space Invaders, Asteroids and Lunar Lander rule the arcades, but what’s this tucked away in the corner? Lunar Rescue? What’s that? It looks like all those games mashed up into one game. Oh yea, this is awesome!
I figure I’ll share this here to add some balance to the usual negative experiences people have online.
Well after todays doctor appt im cleared to get back to work this next Monday. Im ready....3 months of mainly sitting makes a man want to stand.
This month has been a gamer gold mine for me. Granted before these little game finds happened I actually had a bad day: I got into an argument with manager. Not in real trouble, just a heated moment.
PSN this week sees the release of Atelier Rorona Plus but the confusing listing could lead you into buying something you have no use for.
You are one of the four members of the Ranger Corps. Poachers are killing animals to the point of extinction. What will you do? Punch and kick and give them a taste of your rocket launcher of course - SHBROOM! And get some help from your animal friends too!
Damn. It's been a while since I put up any blogs. My plan this year was to do a blog a month. That resolution is out on it's ass.
It's been 3 months since my last blog and to be honest, not much is different from then.
A full day put into Enemy Front chasing down achievements. I played to get all the mission based achievements, and while I was there, looked for secrets I'd missed. It was my second full playthrough of the game, with some extra levels played partially a third time for the drawing-a-resistance-logo-on-a-Warsaw-wall-14-times achievement.
Pixlbittallion Ten Hut! or Eleven Hut, whichever you prefer.
World War 1 flavored RPG....if its under 20 on PSN, ill be first in.
Saturday I logged another 3 hours into Enemy Front before work. A lot of the time the game seems to be asking me to stealth my way through an area, but I'm finding this really impossible. You have no silencer or throwing knives, so getting close is your only option. Thing is, they see you very quickly, and then it becomes a firefight, which is more my style anyway. Oh yeah, I finished the campaign in a very slow 9 hours total. My friend did it in 6 and HowLongToBeat.com says it can be done in under 5. Well, I like to explore as I go and not race to the end.
Here’s another batch of reviews I’ve written lately over at GamerDad.com. Please click on the links and read as many as you can and maybe even post a comment or two. I’d really appreciate it. I’m also using this blog to commemorate a gaming ‘milestone’ for me. Recently, I passed the 50,000 Achievement Point mark on Xbox LIVE!
Hello. Its been awhile and I'm sorry I've been a bit sporadic with my presence here on PB. I just haven't been much of a good mood for awhile and yeah its been draining me of pretty much me giving a care about many things lately. I guess it stems from how my job is pretty treating me horribly, like extremely horribly. To make a long story short, after coming back from my vacation, I got thrown into a department I usually don't work (as well as hate working, fact that even my boss knows) and work it two nights in a row. So then on the end of the second day/morning (fuck, working 3rd Shift really confuses on time), the guy that usually comes in on first shift comes at me an basically said that I did a horrible job and basically I should quit. On top of that, after I left because I was so fucking mad at the dude, he apparently when around and joked about how he basically made me quit. I've gone through some shitty managers and done many shitty things at my deparment store job, but that somehow just makes me feel really shitty. Not helped by the fact that my boss continually puts me in that same department at least 2 times since that incident including tonight. Fuck.
